The manifestation
For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God. 1 Cor 1:18 (AMP)
I really love what the Holy Spirit is ministering to us in this portion of scripture. It is the difference of what the word is between the worldly and us (who are being saved). He says to those who are on their way to perdition (destruction) the word of God is sheer absurdity and folly, but completely on the contrary it is the manifestation of the power of God to us.
The Greek rendering is dunamis, or power. Dunamis means force (literally or figuratively); specially, miraculous power (usually by implication, a miracle itself):--ability, abundance, meaning, might, miracle (-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work.
It refers to a violent kind of force that coerces a miracle. This kind is explosive and that’s what the hypocrite doesn’t have because he/she is on the way to perdition.
Now all this dynamic force originating from the word of God in your life you have no reason not to manifest His mighty works. Failure should not be identified when you show up, no disease or sickness should ever have room in your body, soul or spirit, hallelujah!
You need to let the word of God dwell in you so richly that you begin to see the manifestation of these miracles in your life, you know why? Because manifestation of God’s power is the word of God.
