Family Life Day.

As we enter this sacred Preparation Day, let every family intentionally prepare not only their homes but also their hearts for the holy Sabbath. God’s plan from the beginning has been that the family should be a reflection of heaven—a place where love, prayer, forgiveness, and His Word are cherished.

The Bible reminds us, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15), while the Seventh-day Adventist Church emphasizes that the home is the first school of discipleship where Christ is to be the unseen Guest. Ellen G. White beautifully wrote, “The home should be made all that the word implies. It should be a little heaven upon earth” (The Adventist Home, p. 15).

As we prepare for tomorrow’s Family Life Day at Pearly Gates SDA Church, may every family renew its commitment to daily worship, mutual love, and faithful service to God, so that our homes may become living testimonies of Christ’s transforming grace and be ready for His soon return.

From the quiet whispers of creation to the songs of grateful hearts, another holy Sabbath has reminded us that true rest is found in the presence of our Creator. Together at Pearly Gates SDA Church, we worshipped, prayed, studied His Word, and experienced the joy of Christian fellowship.

May these moments inspire every soul to seek Jesus, for He alone gives peace that the world cannot offer. The Sabbath is not merely a day—it is God’s loving invitation to pause, draw near to Him, and prepare for His soon return.

“If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath… then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord.” — Isaiah 58:13–14
