*Title: Recognizing the mercy of God.*

Mercy is God’s system of advantage over Gods children. Mercy is shown when someone deserves punishment but is favored. We need the mercy of God to find anything that we need. Being chosen in places we don’t qualify is the mercy of God. The mercy of God must work for you. We must ask for God’s mercy in all that you do. We need the mercies of God. *Psalms 123:3* *Isaiah 50:7*
God shows mercy to people through people. Never look down on anyone, you may not have connections but God can use someone who is next to you to show you mercy. *2nd kings 5:3-15*
Recognize what is around you and pay attention, that is what God uses to show you mercy. The voice of God is more profound than any other voice. It doesn’t matter where you come from or who you are,God assured you that he is with you.
God will also show you mercy through instructions. We must be alert to discern what God is saying. We must ask for Gods mercy every day, God has a solution for everything, all you need to do is ask for his mercy. Call upon the name of the lord without shame. *Romans 10:13*

*Title: AN ALTER*

An alter is a religion and raised structure used for sacrifice, worship or prayer. It is a sacred place for sacrifice and gifts offered up to God. It is a supernatural system of authorization for the spirit realm to have a manifestation to the physical realm. It is a memorial where God meets us. You need to raise an alter as a child of God. Alters are real, whether you believe in him or not. If you don’t raise an alter, you will be a victim of another man’s alter. The Hebrew word of alter is Mizbeah which mean to slaughter. In Greek it is Thusiasterion which means a place of sacrifice.
When you raise an alter you wil have a supernatural covering. *Genesis 28:13* *Exodus 13:20-22 and 14:19-20*
An alter is a place of covenant, creation and renewal. An alter is a place of full surrender. It empowers and activates covenants. An alter must be maintained by sacrifice. *Genesis 8:20-22*
When you create an alter you must be consistent in servicing the alter. Sacrifice will make an alter speak. If someone raises an alter against you, things don’t work out no matter how much you try. Drinking carelessly, prostitution and sickness can be an example alters. Raise an alter to defend things around you. Present your body as a sacrifice. *Romans 12:1*

Matthew 4:1-11

Jesus is Tempted 3 times.
1st temptation; the devil asked Jesus to turn stones to bread since He was famished from fasting. Jesus responded by saying that man shall not live alone but every Word that comes from God's Mouth.

2nd temptation; Jesus is taken to the pinnacle of the temple and asked to jump so that the angels save Him. He qmresponds that you shall not tempt the Lord your God.

3rd temptation; Jesus is taken to the top of the mountain and told to worshio the devil in exchange for the whole earth. Jesus resoonds with the commandment that you shall worship the Lord your God and Him alone shall you serve.

Lessons from today.
- God gives us life through His mouth.
- The devil will use many tactics, including the Bible. So we must always pay attention.
- Do not tempt one another into doing things that are not acceptable. Such is deception and God hates deceivers.
- Worship God alone, and only then will He attend to you every need.

*TITLE :ANGER *

Anger in Greek is thumos. Turn away from anger, it destroys you. People with uncontrolled anger are dangerous. It’s not Christ like. Uncontrolled anger is demonic. It makes you make mistakes that you end up regretting. Psalms 37:7
It affects you physically too, symptoms like high blood pressure. Anger makes you make wrong decisions. It makes you leave in condemnation. Words realized in anger are spirits.
Don’t make your children angry, bring them up with the discipline of the Lord. *Ephesians 6:4*
Stay away from people that have anger. Anger is not part of the fruits of the spirit. We must learn to practice self control. *Proverbs 22:24*
We must be merciful unto others. *Psalms 86:15*
Do not make decisions when you are angry. Hot temper can be a family curse, it is your duty to out an end to it. Pray that you don’t pass it on to your children. Anger can make you miss your destiny helpers and you fail to enter the promised land like Moses. *Ephesians 4:26-27*
Asmodeus, Vine these are key of demons that are in control of anger. They get other demons as well. Refuse to be controlled by anger. These demons can be inherited or gotten from movies, music and certain books.

*Title: TITHE*

Tithing is giving 10% of your income or whatever it is that you get. It is a willing giving through the church. *Malachi 3:8-12*
Tithe is something that God uses to test your heart. Are you willing to give God ten percent of your earnings. The motive of giving tithe is to honor God.
The purpose of tithe is to teach you how to fear the Lord your God. *Deuteronomy 14:23*
Whenever you receive money, you remove 10% for God and put it aside. It shows that you put your love for God 1st. If you are a consistent tither God says try him, if he will not open the windows of heaven. There are certain blessings that come just by paying your tithe. God rebukes the devourer( waster) when you pay your tithe.
Giving your tithe to any other place than church, that’s not paying tithe. If you don’t pay your 10%, God will not protect the 90%.
When you pay your tithe God recovers what you lost and your generations will learn from those steps. *Hebrews 7:9-11*
Participating in church activities is good. Men of God give spiritual food and they must eat physical food. If you starve the storehouse, you will also starve spiritually. Give in the kingdom of God.

*TITLE: BAPTISM*

Baptism is a Greek word that means to *immerse*. This symbolizes our belief in CHRIST. We are Immersed in water 3 times, to represent the birth, death and resurrection of Christ. *Mathew 28:19 ***Mathew 3:16 Acts 8:38-39**
When you are dipped in water, you have died with Christ, when you are raised, you have risen with Christ.*Romans 6:3-4*

Baptizing connects us to Christ’s body. It symbolizes that you belong to Christ but It will not save you, what saves you is grace and faith in Jesus Christ. 1st *Corinthians 12:13* *Ephesians 2:8*.
John the Baptist was a baptizing to prepare a way for Christ Jesus. *Mathew 3:1-3*
There is also the baptizing of the Holy Spirit, which is receiving the Holy Spirit. It is the baptizing of Christ Jesus. This happens the day we become born again. *Mathew 3:11 *
Your spiritual growth is a personal journey. Take it seriously.
The requirements for one to be baptized are:
-Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
-Repentance of sins
-Believing in Jesus Christ. *Acts 8:12*
Children are dedicated and not baptizing. Because they are not aware of the works of Christ and of their sins. *Romans 10:9*
Make up your mind to belong to Jesus Christ.
