Pastor Emmerson Malamba writes

THOSE WHO LEFT US IN THE FOREST HAVE NO RIGHT TO ASK WHAT THE WOLVES DID TO US.

BAZALWANE 🙌
There are wounds inflicted not by enemies, but by those who once stood close enough to call themselves ALLIES.

To be (left in the forest) is to be abandoned at the very moment that mattered most. And so the statement rises, not as bitterness, but as a declaration of moral clarity. "Those who left us in the forest have no right to ask what the wolves did to us"

The aforementioned edict is very vividly colored because, It is a refusal to entertain selective concern. A rejection of delayed sympathy. Because absence, at the critical hour, is not Neutral, it is PARTICIPATION.👏👏👏👏👏

BAZALWANE 👏
When people walk away in moments of crisis, they surrender their voice in the AFTERMATH. Yes! They forfeit the privilege of INQUIRY. Not because curiosity is Wrong, but because Responsibility was IGNORED. One cannot withdraw Protection and later demand Explanation. Aikona man

LISTEN 👂
Oftentimes, the same people who abandoned us are shocked by what we BECAME to endure. But Survival Bazalwane does not ask PERMISSION. It Adapts. It HARDENS. It CHANGES.

This truth speaks beyond Personal Relationships. It echoes in leadership, in communities, in institutions. When leaders ABANDON their people, they cannot later question the Consequences of that Abandonment. When systems Fail Individuals, they cannot Interrogate the Outcomes without first confronting their own SILENCE.
Yet, beneath the fire of this edict, lies something deeper than anger, it is dignity. It is the reclaiming of narrative. It is saying....You were not there. You do not get to Define what Happened.
At the same time, it challenges us inwardly. It ASKS; Where have we been absent in someone else’s forest? Because it is easy to quote the line as VICTIMS, but harder to confront it as PARTICIPANTS.

BAZALWANE 🙌
In the end, the edict is less about shutting people out and more about drawing a Boundary around Truth. It reminds us that:-
🈳PRESENCE matters.
🈳LOYALTY matters.
🈳TIMING matters.
Because when the forest grows DARK, what people REMEMBER is not just the WOLVES...but WHO-WALKED-AWAY.

So Be Kind-Be Nice-Be Conscious and Be Caring, because the future is PREGNANT and at any time the future can give BIRTH.

Those who left us in the forest have no right to ask what the wolves did to us.

Take-Home Points from 1 Kings 17:1–7

‎1. God can use one person to stand for truth.
‎Elijah stood boldly before King Ahab, even when the nation had turned away from God. One faithful person can make a difference.

‎2. Disobedience brings consequences.
‎The drought came because Israel had rejected God and followed idols. Our choices have results.

‎3. God is in control of nature and nations.
‎The stopping of rain showed that God, not Baal, rules creation.

‎4. God protects those who obey Him.
‎After Elijah delivered the message, God told him where to hide and kept him safe.

‎5. God provides in unexpected ways.
‎God used ravens to bring food to Elijah. Help can come from places we never imagine.

‎6. Faith requires obedience
‎Elijah had to go to the brook as God instructed. Blessings often follow obedience.

‎7. Seasons of isolation can have purpose.
‎Elijah was hidden by the brook. Sometimes God separates us to prepare, protect, or teach us.

‎8. Trust God daily.
‎Elijah received food morning and evening. God often provides one day at a time.

‎9.Even during judgment, God shows mercy.
‎Though the land suffered drought, God still cared for His servant.

‎10. God’s word always stands
‎What Elijah declared happened exactly as God said. God’s promises and warnings are reliable.
