God speaks to His children in multiple ways, through Scripture, prayer, dreams, visions, and the inner witness of the Holy Spirit. However, hearing His voice requires discipline, humility, and spiritual sensitivity.

John 10:27 says:
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”

This scripture emphasizes the intimate relationship between God and His servant. Hearing God’s voice is reserved for those who are in fellowship with Him, who know His character, and who have cultivated spiritual discernment.

The Power of Solitude and Fasting in the Wilderness
The wilderness is a place of separation, a divine environment where God draws His servants closer to Himself. Solitude and fasting are essential tools in preparing the heart, sharpening spiritual senses, and cultivating intimacy with Jesus Christ.
Solitude is not loneliness; it is intentional withdrawal from distractions to hear God clearly. Fasting is not merely abstaining from food, it is a spiritual discipline that strengthens dependence on God and aligns the spirit with His will.
Matthew 4:1-2 reminds us of Jesus’ example: Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. This passage demonstrates that before public ministry, even Jesus spent time in solitude and fasting, fully submitted to the Holy Spirit, and prepared for His mission.

Hebrews 5:4 declares:
“And no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God, just as Aaron was.”

This verse reveals that divine calling is initiated by God. It cannot be manufactured, copied, or inherited through ambition. It must be received through obedience.

When God calls a person, He also prepares them. The calling and the wilderness work together.

The wilderness is part of the formation process that strengthens the individual for the weight of their assignment.
The apostle Paul understood this principle clearly. He did not immediately begin public ministry after his conversion. Instead, there was a period of preparation.

When God calls a person, He does not only give them an assignment; He also places His heart within them. This internal divine weight is often described in Scripture as the burden of the Lord. It is not a physical burden, but a spiritual responsibility that compels the servant of God to speak, pray, and act according to His will.
The burden of the Lord is the divine concern of God for His people and for the world. When this burden rests upon a servant, they can no longer live casually. Their heart becomes aligned with God’s purposes. They begin to feel what God feels and desire what God desires.
The prophet Jeremiah experienced this reality.
Jeremiah 20:9 says:
“Then I said, ‘I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.’ But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.”
This scripture reveals that the burden of the Lord is powerful. When God’s word is placed inside a servant, it becomes like fire. It cannot remain silent. It demands expression.
The burden of the Lord often develops during the wilderness season. While a servant may feel hidden or isolated, God is building within them a deep spiritual responsibility for souls, truth, and righteousness.

BEFORE PUBLIC MINISTRY, FIRST COMES THE WILDERNESS

BEFORE PUBLIC MINISTRY, FIRST COMES THE WILDERNESS
The wilderness is not a place of punishment; it is a place of divine instruction. For those whom God is calling into ministry, the wilderness is not something to fear. It is something to embrace because it is evidence that God is preparing them for something greater than what they can currently see.
Every servant of God who has walked faithfully with the Lord understands this truth: before public ministry comes the wilderness.

RAISING LEADERS, REACHING NATIONS
Multiplying the Vision Beyond One Man
The vision God gave me was never meant to be carried by one man alone.
From the very beginning, it was clear:
If the nations must be reached, leaders must be raised.
No single person, no matter how anointed—can fulfill a global assignment alone.
The Gospel is not advanced by individuals only, but by men and women who are trained, equipped, and sent.
The Bible says, “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).
This is the pattern of the Kingdom:
Receive → Grow → Multiply → Sent
The Shift from Personal Calling to Corporate Vision
At first, my focus was personal:
• My calling
• My obedience
• My journey
But as I grew, God began to expand my understanding.
The assignment was not just about me preaching, it was about building a movement.
A movement of:
• Soul winners
• Disciples
• Leaders
• Church planters
The Bible says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
Not just converts, disciples.
Why Leadership is Essential for Nations
You cannot reach nations without structure.
You cannot sustain growth without leadership.
Many ministries start strong but fail because they lack leadership development.
God began to teach me that:
• Souls must be won
• But people must be discipled
• And disciples must become leaders
The Bible says, “Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14).
