MESSAGE: Growing Spiritually
THEME: God's Work is moving forward and so is our Spiritual Development
A renewed faith was instilled in the moment when Chaisa congregation witnessed the introduction of the newly assigned District Rector for Chaisa District Rector Area taking over from the now Bishop Phillimon Songolo
This special midweek divine service rejuvenated the mind and spirit of the hopeful congregants in a divine service conducted by District Rector Julius Kana.
The District Rector guided the faithful flock through a message of Growing Spiritually grounded in Apostle Paulβs words to the church in Roma
Romans 13:11β ββ¦and do this, knowing the time, that now is high time, to awake out from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believedβ
In his teaching, the officiant, cautioned believes to LIVE WITH A SENSE OF URGENCY saying, salvation is drawing nearer everyday so we should not postpone repentance, prayer and Service to God.
He further called on believers to continue preparing for Christ's Return, saying a life of Holiness, Faithfulness and Devotion reflects our readiness for His eminent return. He cites the book of Revelation 16:15

DR Kulumbekwa
DR Kulumbekwa encouraged believers to be SPIRITUALLY AWAKE by remaining alert and watchful in their faith. He said, Spiritually complacency can weaken our relationship with God, citing 1 Thessalonians 5:6
The DR further encouraged believers to make good use of time, saying Time is a gift from God and should be used wisely. He called on congregants to priotise God's Will and Kingdom work above self interest. Citing the books of Psalms 90:12 and Ephesians 5:15-16
The service was summarized with the following points;
β The return of Jesus Christ is certain. God has set the date.
β Spiritual vigilance keeps us from falling asleep and allows us to grow spiritually.
β Godβs work of salvation is progressing towards completion through the activity of the Holy Spirit.
β Our spiritual development is reflected in faith, love, and hope.
