HOW YOU CAN STOP PRIDE IN YOU PART 2
1. Be United and Care for Each Other
QUOTE FOR THE DAY
“Humility unites what pride divides.”
Joy That Comes from Humility
📖 John 3:29
“The bride belongs to the groom. The friend who helps the groom waits and listens for him. He is full of joy when he hears the groom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.”
➡️ True joy comes when we take our rightful place—not seeking attention, but rejoicing when Christ is exalted.

A Call to Peace, Love, and Humility
📖 1 Peter 3:8–9
Finally, all of you should live in peace. Be understanding. Love one another like members of the same family. Be kind and tender. Do not be proud.
Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. Instead, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called, so that you may inherit a blessing.
What Genuine Love Looks Like
📖 Romans 12:9–21
• Love must be sincere and true
• Hate what is evil; hold firmly to what is good
• Love one another deeply
• Honor others above yourselves
• Never let your spiritual fire go out; serve the Lord faithfully
• Be joyful in hope
• Patient in suffering
• Faithful in prayer
• Share with God’s people who are in need
• Practice hospitality
• Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse
• Rejoice with those who rejoice
• Mourn with those who mourn
• Live in harmony with one another
• Do not be proud
• Be willing to associate with people of low position
• Do not think you are better than others
• Do not repay anyone evil for evil
• Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone
• If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone
• Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s justice
“It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord
— Deuteronomy 32:35
• Instead:
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.”
— Proverbs 25:21–22
• Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good

Living Worthy of the Gospel
📖 Philippians 1:27
Whatever happens, live in a way that brings honor to the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you, I will know that you stand firm with one purpose, working together as one to spread the message of the Gospel.

Key Message
• Humility produces joy
• Love defeats pride
• Unity glorifies Christ
• Good overcomes evil
🙏 When we live this way, Christ is seen, pride is silenced, and the Gospel is honored.

The Caller’s Spring-Judges 15:18-19

BIBLE TEACHINGS THEME:
HOW YOU CAN STOP PRIDE IN YOU
PART 1:
1. Be United and Care for Each Other
QUOTE FOR THE DAY
“Pride lifts us above people, but humility brings us closer to God.”
📖 Philippians 2:1
Does your life in Christ give you strength? Does His love comfort you? Do we share together in the Spirit? Do you have mercy and kindness?
True humility begins when we remember that our strength, comfort, and unity come from Christ—not from ourselves.
Put On Christlike Character
📖 Colossians 3:12–17
Verse 12
You are God’s chosen people—holy and dearly loved. Therefore, clothe yourselves with:
• Tender mercy
• Kindness
• Humility (do not be proud)
• Gentleness
• Patience
Verse 13
Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you have against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Verse 14
Above all, put on love. Love perfectly binds all these virtues together.
Verse 15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. As members of one body, you were called to live in peace. Be thankful.
Verse 16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. Teach and correct one another with wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
Verse 17
Whatever you do—whether in word or deed—do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Remove Attitudes That Feed Pride
📖 Ephesians 4:27–32
Verse 27
Do not give the devil a foothold.
Verse 28
Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work with their own hands, doing what is useful, so they may have something to share with those in need.
Verse 29
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths. Speak only what builds others up and meets their needs, so that it benefits those who listen.
Verse 30
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Verse 31
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, fighting, and lying. Put away every form of hatred.
Verse 32
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as God forgave you through Christ.

Live in Unity
📖 Philippians 2:2
Make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.

Key Message
Pride dies when:
• We choose unity over division
• Love over selfishness
• Forgiveness over bitterness
• Humility over self-glory
🙏 Walking in Christlike humility keeps pride from ruling our hearts

Title: The Danger of Stubbornness
Text: 1 Samuel 15:22–23 (NIV)
“Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as much as in obeying the Lord?
To obey is better than sacrifice,
and to heed is better than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is like the sin of divination,
and arrogance like the evil of idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,
He has rejected you as king.”
(1 Samuel 15:22–23 NIV)
Introduction
• Stubbornness means refusing to change or obey.
• King Saul’s stubborn heart led to his downfall.
• God desires obedience, not excuses or partial compliance.
Lesson 1 – Stubbornness Blocks Obedience
• Saul followed part of God’s command but not all.
• Partial obedience = disobedience.
• Stubbornness blinds us from seeing truth.
Lesson 2 – Stubbornness Is Rooted in Pride
• Samuel said arrogance is like idolatry.
• A stubborn person trusts their own way more than God’s.
• Pride makes it hard to repent or accept correction.
Lesson 3 – Stubbornness Brings Loss
• Saul’s kingship was taken away.
• Stubbornness separates us from God’s favor.
• Obedience opens doors; stubbornness closes them.
Lesson 4 – God Delights in Obedience
• God values a humble, teachable heart.
• True worship is obedience, not empty rituals.
• “To obey is better than sacrifice.”
Reflection Questions
• In what ways have I been stubborn toward God?
• Do I listen when corrected, or defend my actions?
• How can I become more obedient and humbler?
Prayer
Lord, forgive me for the times I have been stubborn.
Help me to obey Your voice completely.
Teach me humility and a heart that delights in Your will.
Amen.

THE TRUE PREACHER OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.

- GALATIANS 1: 1 - From Paul, an apostle. I was not chosen to be an apostle by men. I was not sent from men. It was Jesus Christ and God the Father Who MADE me an apostle. God is the One who raised Jesus Christ from death.

-- ACTS 9 : 6 - Now get up and go into the city. There you will be told what you must do.

-- I don't care about my own life. The most important thing is that I complete my mission. I want to finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me-- to tell people the Good News about God's grace. - ACTS 20 : 24

-- The teaching that I gave you is the same teaching that I received from the Lord ; On the night when Jesus was handed over to be killed, he took bread. -- 1 CORINTHIANS 11 : 23

-- From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, by the command of God our Savior and Christ Jesus our hope. -- 1 TIMOTHY 1 : 1

-- From Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I was sent to help the faith of God's chosen people. I was sent to help them to know the truth. And that truth shows people how to serve God. That faith and that knowledge come from our hope for life forever. God promised that life to us before time began, and God does not lie. At the right time God let the world know about that life through preaching. He trusted me with that work, and I preached because God our Savior commanded me to. --- TITUS 1 : 1- 3.

-- Ananias told me, The God of our Fathers chose you long ago. He chose you to see the Righteous One and to hear words from him. You will be his witness to all people. You will tell them about the things you have seen and heard. --- ACTS 22 : 14 - 15

-- From Paul, God called me to be an apostle [ messenger ] of Christ Jesus because that is what God wanted [ by the will of God ]. Also from Sosthenes our brother in Christ. -- 1 CORINTHIANS 1 : 1 and Verse 17 -- Christ did not give me the work of baptizing people. He gave me the work of preaching the Good

- John was baptizing people in the desert [ wilderness ] and preaching a baptism of Changed hearts and lives [ turning from sin ; repentance ] for the forgiveness [ remission ] of sins.-- MARK 1 : 4.
-- [ For ] The kind of sorrow God wants makes people change their hearts and lives [ repent ], leading to salvation, and you cannot be sorry for that [ or there can be no regret for that kind of sorrow; without regret ]. But the kind of sorrow the world has brings [ leads to ; results in ] death.-- 2 CORINTHIANS 7 : 10.

-- So you must change your hearts and lives [ repent ]. Come back [ Return ; Turn back ] to God, and he will forgive [ wipe out ; erase ] your sins. Then the time [ times ; seasons ] of rest [ refreshment; confort ] will come from the Lord. - ACTS 3 : 19

04/09/2025

Good morning, greetings from En-Hakkore Ministries in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

My name is: Brother Reuben Zulu
In today’s teaching we are going to look at a Bible teaching titled Determination for Keeping God’s Law.

Determination is the strong, unwavering(unshaken) commitment to do what is right before God, despite difficulties, temptations, or opposition.

Due to doubt, fear, distractions (Love of wealth, pleasure, or sinful habit), bad company, impatience, and lack of spiritual growth many people have lost their determination in doing what is right before God.

In today's Bible Teaching we are going to learn about how we can maintain our determination in Keeping God's Law.

Joshua 24:15 – “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
• Determination is making a clear choice for God.

Like Daniel “resolved not to defile himself” (Daniel 1:8), you need a clear decision in your heart that you will choose God’s way no matter what.
So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest. Galatians 6:9
• We must be Consistent in doing good even if when we face hard times.

Fear of failure, opposition, or people’s opinions can make you lose determination in Keeping God's Law. However, the Lord God encourages us that:
“Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”- Joshua 1:9.
Psalm 32:3–4 – David felt drained and weak when he kept silent about his sin.
• Unconfessed Sin weakens determination for keeping God's Law because it makes us feel distant from God. Therefore, for us to maintain our determination for keeping God's Law we must confess our sins.

Hebrews 10:36 – “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”
• Wanting quick results can lead to giving up too soon in doing what is right. As Christians we need to have perseverance for us to remain firm in Keeping God's Law.

In conclusion, determination is not about human strength, but about daily relying on God’s Spirit. When we remain determined, we will live lives that honor God and we will receive His eternal reward.
To keep God’s law with determination, we must:
1. Make a clear choice for God.
2. Be consistent in doing good.
3. Overcome fear and opposition with God’s presence.
4. Confess sins to remain spiritually strong.
5. Persevere with patience until God’s promises are fulfilled.

The Law of God (Wisdom) Worth More Than Gold

In a world where material wealth often takes center stage, this Bible Teaching shine a spotlight on a treasure far more precious: wisdom. Let's study the richness of these scriptures and Learn why spiritual guidance is worth more than all the gold and silver in the world!

Psalms 19:10
[10]They are more desirable than the finest gold; they are sweeter than the purest honey.

Psalms 119:72
[72]Your teachings are worth more to me
than a thousand pieces of silver and gold.

Proverbs 2:4
[4]Look for wisdom like silver. Search for it like hidden treasure.

Psalms 119:127
[127]I love your commands more than gold,
more than the purest gold.

Proverbs 8:11
[11]Wisdom is better than pearls,
and nothing you desire compares with her.

Proverbs 24:14
[14]In the same way, know that wisdom is good for you. Wisdom will give you something to hope for that will not disappoint you.

Proverbs 3:14
[14]Profit that comes from wisdom is better than silver and even the finest gold.

Proverbs 16:16
[16]Wisdom is worth much more than gold. Understanding is worth much more than silver.

In conclusion, these powerful Bible verses remind us that wisdom, spiritual guidance, and God's teachings are the greatest treasures we can possess. May we prioritize seeking wisdom and valuing it above all else, allowing it to guide us on our journey and enrich our lives with purpose, peace, and joy.
