Title: God's Revelation Through Creations
Text: Psalm 19:-1-14

Introduction: Psalm 19 shows us that God never leaves Himself without a witness. Before a missionary arrives, before a Bible is opened, the heavens are already preaching.

1. It DECLARES the Glory Of God
*verse 1, (The MAGNIFICENCE of heavens are MADE by God's hands)
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

2. It DISPLAYS The Knowledge Of God
*verses 2-3, (everyday it tells STORIES so SIGNIFICANT)
"Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard."

3. It DESCRIBES The Works Of God
*verses 4-6, (to HELP the whole creation and to HONOR God)
"Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat."

4. It DISTINGUISHES The Word of God
*verses 7-9, (its CHARACTERISTICS and the COMPENSATION to the believers)
"The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous."

5. It DESIRES By The Believers Of God
*verses 10-14, (David VIEWS it so VALUABLE)
"They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer."

Conclusion: Psalm 19 closes the case: Even if a person never reads the Bible or hears a preacher, creation alone leaves him without excuse.
*Romans 1:20, God has revealed Himself.

Questions to R-E-F-L-E-C-T:

R-ecognize God’s glory today:
What in creation around you today—sky, trees, sunrise—can remind you of God’s greatness? How will you pause to give Him glory for it this morning?

E-xperience God’s consistent voice:
Where do you need to be reminded that God is consistent and present, even when you don’t feel Him? What’s one way you’ll listen for Him today?

F-eel the care in God’s design:
If God designed the sun to sustain the earth with such precision, what area of your life can you trust Him to sustain today? What worry can you release to His care?

L-ove the Word of God:
Do you value Scripture more than your newsfeed, your to-do list, or your plans? What’s one verse you can meditate on today to let God revive your soul?

E-xamine my hidden faults:
Is there a sin, attitude, or motive you’ve been ignoring? Will you ask God to reveal and cleanse it before you move forward today?

C-hoose obedience over willful sin:
What temptation are you most likely to face today? How will you depend on God to keep you from letting it rule over you?

T-urn my heart and mouth to please God:
What will you speak and think today that honors God as your Rock and Redeemer?

Luke 18:38-42 (KJV) And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he aske

If Jesus were standing in front of you, and asked you what you wanted him to do, what would you ask for? The blind man asked that he might see again. He wanted Jesus to heal his blindness physically. There are times when I have asked Jesus to open my eyes to what is around me. I can be blind to how people are feeling, and have caused problems by being totally insensitive. I once had a secretary who complained that I “hover” so I told her she could call me on it whenever I did it. That’s one of my minor faults, and occurred after I realized my problem and was actually trying to be better! Do you have a blind spot? Maybe blindness isn’t an issue for you as it is for me, but there’s probably something you would like. Jesus wants to help us. In the Gospels he is always telling us to ask. He probably didn’t mean that he would help us win the lottery, but he probably would help direct us to a potential job. We also might not receive an immediate healing as the blind man did, but patience is also a gift we can use. Perhaps the sight we need is to see the good qualities in people. I have a friend who is a wonderful youth minister. He is also great as a spiritual director for those who have had a troubled past. When I first met him with his long hair pulled into a pony tail and the tattoos running up and down his arms, I had to hold back my judgment based on his appearance and get to know the person. I’m so glad I did! As I said, his ability to relate to youth and the wonderful way he could introduce teens to Jesus is so impressive. He is a great reminder not to judge by appearances. I’ve let you know where I needed help; now it’s your turn.

VERSE
2 Corinthians 4:16 (KJV) For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

INSPIRATION
Our main task to God is to maintain a rich inner spiritual life with him. Whilst our health may be an important factor in this, even in our ripe old age or in sickness may we be reminded that even though this mortal flesh may decay, our souls live on thereafter. Even if we are sick, tired, or decrepit, our souls may still be able to go from strength to strength.

PRAYER
God, my almighty, my salvation and redeemer. Bless me in the image of Your Son by the grace of our Holy Spirit. For though my flesh may decay, I pray You keep my spirit safe, for it is my greatest gift I can give You Lord, and is the one I will seek forever to perfect through the guidance of Your word. Amen.

VERSE
John 3:17 (KJV) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

INSPIRATION
It is amazing to think that Jesus came to this earth and lived among the sinners, but he did not come to condemn them. Instead, Jesus ate with the sinners. He loved them. He gave them an opportunity to escape their lives of sin and be saved and set free. While God is holy and could have sent his son to send all sinners to their deaths – he did the opposite. He gave them the gift of eternal life.

PRAYER
Dear God, thank you for sending Your son, Jesus Christ, not to condemn us before to offer us the gift of salvation. You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. It is within Your power to destroy sin and sinner, but You extended Your mercy. Because of Your love and sacrifice, we may live eternally. Thank you, O Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.

VERSE
Deuteronomy 10:20 (KJV) Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.

INSPIRATION
The Jews were told to swear oaths only in the name of Jehovah their God. Jesus tells us it is better to swear no oath at all than to swear one and then break it, but there were times when an oath was appropriate. But our "yes" should mean "yes" and our "no" mean "no" regardless of whether it be uttered in the form of an oath or not.

PRAYER
Help me to walk and speak honestly with others and especially before You. If I swear an oath to You for marriage, in a court room, or for another purpose, let me keep it. Let my prayers to You be honest, not with feigned words but with words that flow from my heart. You know my heart already, so there is no reason to try to hide anything from You, Lord. Let my prayer be both reverent and honest. Amen

(VERSE)
2 Peter 1:5-8 (KJV) And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(INSPIRATION)
Diligence; faith; virtue; knowledge; temperance; patience; godliness; brotherly kindness; charity. Did you get all of that? Try your best, believe in God, and it will be all that you want to do.

(PRAYER)
Thank you for giving me a clear path to righteousness, gracious and faithful God. My efforts have been weak at times, I know this, and it is with this prayer that I promise You that I shall be more diligent, virtuous, patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Jesus Christ has shown me the path, and it is my choice whether or not to follow it. I pray to You today and all of my days: I shall take the righteous path. Amen.
