SAD NOTICE
Remnant SDA Church

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, *Sis. Chipo Chinyanwa*, who rested in the Lord about an hour ago at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family during this difficult time. As a church family, let us uphold them in prayer for comfort, strength, and peace that only God can give.

Further updates regarding funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.

Stop trying to transform yourself and start surrendering to the One who can.

We can create plans. We can build routines. We can promise to do better. But spiritual growth is not self-generated. It is God-produced. Discipline matters, but dependence matters more. “For it is God who works in you…” (Phil. 2:13, NIV).

Today's idols don't sit in pagan temples. They glow in our hands, whisper to our desires, and capture our time and loyalty. Humanity has changed its technology and its pace, but the heart still bends toward idols. The calf demands what we can give. The Lamb gives what we could never earn. The calf enslaves, but the Lamb saves.

When John saw Jesus, he cried, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). Christ the Lamb offers surrender, but He gives freedom. Idolatry begins with affection. What you look at longest becomes what you love most.

Guard the altar of your heart. Ask yourself often: "What am I worshipping with my time, my energy, and my words?" When the answer is Christ, identity becomes clarity. Choose the Lamb. Choose His mission. Choose His identity.

Blessed Preparations Day Greetings

As the sun rises and a new day begins, warm Preparations Day wishes come from Pastor Kaima, District Pastor of John Laing mission district , together with Shepherdess. Kaima.

This beautiful morning light reminds us of God’s mercies renewed and the gift of another sacred opportunity to prepare our hearts for the Sabbath. As the day unfolds, may every task be guided by peace, every home be filled with harmony, and every soul be drawn closer to God in quiet reflection and gratitude.
