WORD FOR YOU TODAY: RUN TOWARD THE GIANT.
👉TODAY'S 📖 SCRIPTURE: _"And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine."_ (1 Samuel 17:48).
✍️Watch David's feet in this moment 👣. Goliath is towering, armored, roaring threats that could freeze any heart ⚔️😨. Every soldier in Israel's camp had already backed away for forty days. But when the giant finally moves toward David, something remarkable happens — David doesn't wait, doesn't retreat, doesn't ask for a safer angle. He RUNS toward the enemy 🏃🏽♂️💨!
✍️Beloved that is the posture of faith. _Fear always negotiates for delay — "let me prepare more," "let me wait for better conditions," "let me avoid the confrontation."_ But faith moves with holy urgency, because faith already knows how the story ends. David was not running toward Goliath in his own strength; he was running in the Name of the Lord of Hosts (v.45) 🙌🏽. His feet were fast because his confidence was fixed — not on his own five smooth stones, but on His God.
✍️What giant have you been circling from a distance? 🗻 Maybe it is a mountain of debt 💰, a diagnosis you are afraid to face 🏥, or anxiety that has camped in your mind for years 🌪️. Beloved you cannot defeat what you keep avoiding. Standing still does not shrink the giant — it only grows your fear. But when you rise and move toward it, declaring the Name above every name, you will discover that divine enablement doe not meet you sitting down — it meets you IN MOTION 🔥._
👉David did not just talk faith — he ran it. Today, may you stop retreating from what God has already equipped you to face.
👉Where has fear had you standing still, and what would it look like to run toward that giant today, in Jesus' Name?
🙇PRAYER FOR TODAY:_Lord of Hosts, forgive me for the times I've stood frozen before my giants. Today I choose to run — not in my own strength, but in Your mighty Name. Give me David's boldness and Your victory over every Goliath in my life. In Jesus' Name....Amen.*
