"The Importance of Prayer and Fasting"
Esth.4.16 - "Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish."

Matt.17.21 - But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.
- Through prayer and you will receive what belongs to you.
-Through prayer and fasting the veil of darkness shall be removed...

Isa.25.7 - And He will destroy on this mountain the covering of the face that is cast over the heads of all peoples [in mourning], and the veil [of profound wretchedness] that is woven and spread over all nations.
