VERSE OF THE DAY
Genesis 15:1
"After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward."

COMMENTARY
The Word of God is the answer to all of life's questions. It has all the solutions that we need for our challenges and problems. Remember that it is the Word of God that created all things in heaven and earth (John 1:3). God couldn't have given anything better to Abraham than His Word. His Word went to Abraham to comfort him and to prepare him for the challenges ahead. In the end, His Word gave Abraham the son of the promise.
Dear beloved, are you paying attention to the Word of God? God cannot do anything for you apart from what has been written in His Word. The Holy Scriptures are the Word of God, so search them to find solutions to your challenges. When the Word of God is being preached to you, be attentive and receive it with joy, and it will produce blessings for you to enjoy. Hallelujah. Amen. Blessed Thursday.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Genesis 11:6
"And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do."

COMMENTARY
Remaining united with God facilitates His work on Earth. The opening scripture reveals people who were united with each other but not with God. They found a common ground to remain at one place to do their own will instead of carrying out the will of God to spread into the rest of the earth, dominating and populating the earth.
Dear beloved, remain united with God and His purpose for your life. Find out from Him what you are to do specifically for Him in this world, and live your entire life pursuing and fulfilling that purpose. In doing this, God will continually promote you and add more years to your life (Proverbs 3:1-2). Work with Jesus Christ to ensure that the ungodly are saved and come to the knowledge of the Holy One. Hallelujah. Be an overcomer. Blessed Wednesday.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Genesis 8:22
"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."

COMMENTARY
Knowing the seed you have and planting it will give you the kind of harvest you deserve. The Word of God gives us the information we need to transform our lives (Romans 12:1-2).
It is our duty to spend time searching the scriptures to know what God has freely given to us and to prosper therewith (1 Corinthians 2:12). Life is about sowing and reaping. What kind of seed do you have? The kind of seed you have will determine the quality and quantity of your harvest.
Dear beloved, as long as we remain on this earth, our words and actions are seeds we are sowing. What we do with our time and resources are these seeds we are sowing, and we will reap the harvest thereof. If we use our time and resources to promote the work of God, we will reap a bountiful harvest. Let us invest in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. When we meet the needs of the poor, needy, sick, weak, and vulnerable people in the society, we shall reap bountifully to the glory of God. Hallelujah. Blessed Tuesday.

VERSE OF THE DAY
John 1:43
"The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me."

COMMENTARY
Who you follow determines what you will become. Life is a mystery; it is a gift from God, and it has principles by which one can fully enjoy life. Following the giver of life is the key to enjoying the fullness of life (John 10:10).
However, there is no true life without Jesus Christ. When Philip followed Him, he became a choice vessel who brought transformation to lots of lives, including the eu**ch of Ethiopia (Acts 8:27-38).
Dear beloved, are you following Jesus Christ? We follow Jesus Christ through the Holy Scriptures and by allowing ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit. If you follow Jesus Christ, you will understand the true essence of life and enjoy it to the full, and your life will become meaningful and rewarding. The Kingdom of God will benefit because many lives will be transformed through you. Hallelujah. Amen. Blessed Monday.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Romans 13:1
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God."

COMMENTARY
The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ has all the answers to life's questions and the solutions to all the problems of mankind. When a person becomes born again, the Holy Spirit comes to live in that person. Humility is a nature of the Holy Spirit, hence as we cooperate with Him in fellowship, He grows the fruit of humility in us (Galatians 5:22-23). This makes it easy for us to submit to authorities in the church and the secular world, such as the state.
Dear beloved, the governing authorities in your country have been established by God to run the country, and it is our duty not to only pray for them but to cooperate with them to fulfill the will of God. Thus, if you have taxes to pay, go ahead and pay them; honor the obligations of the state; and be a law abiding citizen. When we humble ourselves to authorities, it will be easier to win them for Christ. Before long, God will also place us in such positions; people will be willing to submit to us, and our counties will see better development. Hallelujah. Be an overcomer. Amen. Blessed Friday.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Psalm 107:1
"O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."

COMMENTARY
Giving thanks to the Lord in all circumstances is a sign of maturity and deep understanding in Him. There is no doubt that God is good. His goodness can be seen all around us; He gives us sunlight, rain, air, food, life, healing, etc. If we can make time to examine our lives carefully, there will be something to thank God for because God is good. He tempers mercy with justice such that we don't receive the full penalty for the sins we commit.
Dear beloved, never stop giving God thanks because of an unfortunate incident that happened to you or a challenge that you are going through. Everything that happens to us will still work together for our good (Romans 8:28). Therefore, give thanks in all circumstances to fulfill the will of God (1 Thessalonians 5:18). End the year with a heart of thanksgiving. Hallelujah. Blessed Wednesday.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Joshua 1 vs 9.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

COMMENTARY
Sometimes, life seems to be falling apart: we lose our job, a relationship falls apart, someone dies, or our health takes a turn for the worse. In those times, God draws near to you, and as you trust God with your pain, He will gently shine His healing light on all your wounds. Amen. Blessed Tuesday.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Proverbs 11:30
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise."

COMMENTARY
Divine wisdom is the product of the fear of God. Anyone who claims to be wise should have something to show for his or her claim. The opening scripture provides one of the ways we can measure wisdom; that is, any person who claims to be wise should be a soul winner.
Who is a soul winner? A soul winner is a Christian who has dedicated his or her life to influence people to do the will of God. The will of God is for people to come to the knowledge of the salvation of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). The will of God is also for His people to live in the righteousness, peace, and joy of the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). His will is to help the needy and free people from poverty, injustice, and all kinds of suffering (Psalm 82:3-4).
Dear beloved, if you claim you are wise, you will engage in winning souls. Winning souls opens doors for you to enjoy all the blessings of God. Hallelujah. Be a soul winner. Amen. Blessed Monday.
