VERSE OF THE DAY
Ecclesiastes 6:3
"If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he."

COMMENTARY
Jesus Christ is the solution to every need in the world. He came to the earth to enlighten us about the most important things in life, and the most important thing in life is eternal life. It is the God kind of life that makes God who He is.
This life is endless, peaceful, prosperous, joyful, and healthy. It is the life that everybody needs to enjoy, and an intimate relationship with God and this life is found only in Jesus Christ of Nazareth (John 3:36).
Dear beloved, if you live many years on this earth but miss eternal life, you have done a great disservice to yourself because those many years will not mean anything to God. In fact, in heaven, it is what you did for God after being born again that is rewarded. That is why salvation is vital for every human being on Earth. Choose Jesus Christ, and you will have access to eternal life and enjoy the highest quality of life that God has proposed for you. Amen. Blessed Tuesday.

VERSE OF THE DAY: Mark 1:5
"And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins."

COMMENTARY
Jesus Christ is good. He is the truth that makes us free when we come to Him (John 8:32). Sin has been a problem for mankind since our Fall in the Garden of Eden. However, the solution for sin has been given to mankind, and that solution is Jesus Christ. He is the Savior of the world, and when He comes into your life, He gives you power over sin.
Dear beloved, if you are not born again, you cannot overcome sin, because your soul is still under the dominion of darkness. What you need is to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, and your spirit will be regenerated to overcome sin.
Now that you are born again, if you sin, just go to the Father in prayer and confess to Him genuinely, and you will be forgiven (1 John 1:9). If you focus on righteousness as a child of God, you cannot sin, and that is where God wants us to be.
Living in righteousness makes you free to tap into the higher blessings of God. Hallelujah. God bless you. Blessed Monday.

VERSE OF THE DAY: John 1:19
"And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?"

COMMENTARY
The most important subject to study is Jehovah and His Son, Jesus Christ. Knowing them and having intimate fellowship with them will definitely transform your life.
Jehovah keeps records, and He has a record of every creation of His. Typical evidence that He keeps records is the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible has records of many characters or personalities that God wants us to learn from: Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham, Samuel, David, John the Baptist, Jesus Christ, etc.
Dear beloved, do you like the record of yourself? Remember that God is keeping a detailed record of your lifestyle, and He will play it for you to see when you get to heaven. Those who will not make it to heaven will also have the opportunity to view their record. You can only change your record for good while you are still on this earth, so assess your life every day to see whether you have a good record or not.
Learn from the lives of the patriarchs and our Lord Jesus Christ, and begin to do the works of God so that you can have a good record about yourself. Amen. Blessed Saturday.

VERSE OF THE DAY: John 1:18
"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:18"

COMMENTARY
The Most High has good reasons for everything He does. He is a Spirit and has decided to reveal Himself only to our spirit (John 4:24). He is holy and cannot be seen with the optical eyes because of the sin in mankind. However, He has revealed Himself in the person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His fullness dwells in Jesus Christ, so if you have seen Jesus Christ, you have seen God (John 14:9). Dear beloved, if you are a child of God, then you can see Jesus Christ; just ask Him to make Himself real to you. Living in holiness makes it easier for you to see Him; therefore, eschew all acts of unrighteousness, and you will surely see Him. Hallelujah. God bless you. Amen. Blessed Friday.

VERSE OF THE DAY: John 1:5
"And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

COMMENTARY
Jesus Christ is the light of the world. When He entered the world, darkness could not understand or overpower Him. He was in control and fully dominated everything on the earth. The devil and his cohort of darkness immediately recognized that He was the one promised by God to redeem mankind and to bruise the devil's head (Genesis 3:15). Jesus is in the business of making everyone who believes in Him the light of the world (Matthew 5:14).
Dear beloved, if you are born again, then you are the light of the world. Don't be afraid of the devil and his cohorts of darkness; dominate them by using the authority Jesus Christ has given you (Luke 10:19). Resist them and command them to stop whatever evil they are doing in your life, and they will flee.
Let them know you are in charge; walk in the Word and in holiness, and you will always win in every aspect of your life. Amen. Blessed Thursday.

VERSE OF THE DAY: John 1:4
"In him was life; and the life was the light of men."

COMMENTARY
Natural life is the existence of an individual human being, animal, or plant. It is also the physical functions of people, animals, and plants.
However, true life goes beyond the natural life; true life is eternal life. Eternal life is only found in Christ Jesus; no wonder He said anyone who believes in Him and makes Him Lord over his or her life will never perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
Dear beloved, true life doesn't have any limit; it goes beyond death. Therefore, make sure you have eternal life and remain in Christ Jesus so that you don't lose it. Remember that Adam and Eve lost that privilege by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil instead of eating from the tree of life. If you know Jesus Christ, take the second step of accepting Him and making him Lord and Savior of your life. Then you will receive eternal life, and the true essence of life will be revealed to you for your enjoyment. Hallelujah. God bless you. Amen. Blessed Wednesday.

VERSE OF THE DAY: Galatians 1:10
"For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ."

COMMENTARY
Pleasing people was what led to the downfall of mankind in the Garden of Eden. Adam ate the forbidden fruit to please his wife, and they fell into sin (Genesis 3:17). Apostle Paul learned from this story and proposed to only please our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He pleased Jesus Christ even to the point of death and encourages us to also do the same. Dear beloved, if you choose to please people and disregard the Word or commandments of God, you will always fall into sin and temptation and become a disappointment to God; you will not be able to accomplish the purpose God has for your life. Always seek to please our Lord Jesus Christ, and your life will be filled with glory, progress, joy, peace, and prosperity. Amen. Blessed Tuesday.

VERSE OF THE DAY
Acts 1:26
"And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles."

COMMENTARY
Leadership is God's way of choosing people to lead a group to fulfill His purpose on this earth. Leadership is essential in the Kingdom of God. God chooses some of His children to take up positions to lead others to fulfill His will in His Kingdom. Continuity is key in God's agenda in running His Kingdom.
When Judas lost his place among the twelve disciples, the vacuum created had to be filled. Joseph and Matthias were presented to the disciples for their faithfulness, but only one of them would fill the space created by Judas. After much prayer, they cast their votes, and Matthias was elected as the twelfth apostle.
Dear beloved, voting to elect leaders is God's idea, therefore, during the period of voting, if you are eligible to vote, please do cast your vote. Some Christians shy away from national politics and do not vote to elect their president and other representatives. It is time for such Christians to change their mindset and vote prayerfully to elect God-fearing leaders who can run their countries to fulfill God's agenda. May the Holy Spirit give us discernment to understand politics and vote with wisdom. Amen. Happy new week. Blessed Monday.
