🌿 DAILY GOSPEL REFLECTION 🌿
πŸ“– Matthew 2:13–15

"Get up, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt." β€” Matthew 2:13

As some of our students continue writing their examinations this week, today's Gospel reminds us that God guides and protects us, even in uncertain and challenging moments.

Joseph trusted God's instruction and acted with courage to protect Jesus and Mary. In the same way, students are encouraged to remain prayerful, disciplined and attentive as they complete their examinations. Even when the journey feels difficult, God is present and continues to lead those who trust in Him.

May this Gospel give every student strength to persevere, wisdom to answer each question and peace amid pressure. Let us also support and encourage one another during this demanding period.

πŸ™ Prayer:
Lord Jesus, guide and protect our students as they continue writing their examinations. Grant them wisdom, calmness, strength and confidence. Help them to remain focused and trust in Your presence throughout this journey. Amen.

πŸ“š To all students still writing: remain focused, keep trusting God and give your best. He is with you every step of the way.

Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, Archangels

"You will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man." β€” John 1:51

As some of our students continue writing their examinations this week, today's Gospel reminds us that God sees us, knows us and remains present with us in every situation.

When Jesus meets Nathanael, He reveals that He knows him even before they meet. Nathanael is amazed that Jesus sees beyond what others can see. This reminds us that God knows our struggles, our efforts, our fears and our hopesβ€”even when nobody else sees them.

For students facing the pressure of examinations, this is a message of encouragement. Your effort is seen. Your prayers are heard. Your struggles are not unnoticed by God. Continue to prepare diligently, remain focused and place your trust in Him.

The mention of the angels also reminds us of God's care and protection. As we journey through this examination period, may we remain confident that we do not walk alone. Let us ask God for wisdom, peace and strength, while also remembering the importance of supporting and encouraging one another.

πŸ™ Prayer:
Lord Jesus, be with our students as they continue writing their examinations. Grant them wisdom, understanding, calmness and strength. When anxiety comes, give them peace; when they feel tired, renew their strength; and when they face difficult questions, guide their minds. May they trust that You are with them throughout this journey. Amen.

πŸ“š To all students still writing: keep going, stay focused, pray, and give your best. God sees your effort and walks with you.

πŸ“– Luke 9:46–50

"For the one who is least among you all is the one who is great." β€” Luke 9:48

As some of our students continue writing their examinations this week, today's Gospel reminds us that true greatness is not measured by being ahead of others, but by humility, service and trust in God.

The disciples were discussing who among them was the greatest, but Jesus placed a child among them and taught them a different understanding of greatness. In a world where we can easily compare our academic performance, grades and achievements with others, Christ reminds us that our value is not determined by competition.

During this examination period, let us encourage one another rather than compete destructively. May we celebrate each other's progress, support those who are struggling, and remain humble whether the results are what we expected or not.

Jesus also teaches us not to prevent others from doing good simply because they are not part of our group. There is room for everyone to contribute, grow and succeed.

To all students still writing exams: keep going. Continue preparing, remain focused, pray, and give your best. Do not allow pressure or comparison to steal your peace. Place your efforts in God's hands and trust Him with the outcome.

πŸ™ Prayer:
Lord Jesus, grant our students wisdom, strength and peace as they continue their examinations. Help them to remain humble, focused and supportive of one another. May they recognise that true greatness comes through service, love and faithfulness. Guide them through every examination and grant them the grace to trust in You. Amen.

πŸ“š To everyone still writing: keep going, one paper at a time. We are praying with you and for you.

🌿 DAILY GOSPEL REFLECTION 🌿
πŸ“– Matthew 9:9–13

"Follow me." And he got up and followed him." β€” Matthew 9:9

As our students begin their examinations today, the Gospel gives us a beautiful reminder through the calling of Matthew: when Jesus calls, we are invited to respond with faith and courage.

Matthew left his old life and followed Christ, trusting Him even without knowing everything that lay ahead. In the same way, as we begin our examinations, let us prepare diligently while placing our efforts and worries in God's hands.

Examinations may bring pressure, fear and uncertainty, but they also give us an opportunity to remain disciplined, hopeful and trusting. Let us remember that our academic results do not define our entire worth. We are children of God, called to use our gifts for His glory and the service of others.

Jesus also reminds us: "I desire mercy, not sacrifice." May we extend kindness and encouragement to fellow students who may be struggling, rather than comparing ourselves with them.

πŸ™ Prayer for Students:
Lord Jesus, as our students begin their examinations, grant them wisdom, understanding, peace and confidence. Help them to remember what they have studied, remain focused under pressure, and give their best with honesty and integrity. May their hard work bear good fruit, and may they place their trust in You. Amen.

πŸ“š To all UNZA students writing exams: prepare well, stay calm, trust God, and give your best. You are in our prayers.
