THE MERCY OF GOD
*********************************************
The mercy of God is one of the most beautiful truths in Scripture. It reminds us that God does not treat us as our sins deserve, but meets us with compassion and grace.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22–23).

God’s mercy is not earned, it flows from his loving heart. Even when we fall short, his mercy invites us to repent, rise again, and continue walking with him. Like the father in the parable of the prodigal son, God runs toward us with open arms when we turn back to Him (Luke 15:20).

Today, let us receive God’s mercy with humility and gratitude and extend that same mercy to others. As we have been shown compassion, may we also be vessels of mercy in a broken world.
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy” (Matthew 5:7).

Prayer:
Merciful Father, thank You for Your unfailing mercy in our lives. Help us to trust in Your compassion and to show mercy to others as You have shown it to us in Jesus name. Amen.
