LET GO OF OFFENCE!!!
"Honestly, offence in itself is not deadly if we don’t harbor it. It becomes deadly if we hold or keep it in our hearts. The offence in us produces so much fruit such as hurt, anger, bitterness, strife, hatred, resentment, envy and jealousy. Some of the consequences of picking up an offence are insults, attacks, separations, broken relationships, betrayal and backsliding.
"The problem is that when we get offended, we hardly realise that we are trapped. The devil makes us to focus on the wrong done to us and forget the reality- which is the consequences of being offended.
"Freedom from offence is essential for every Christian because in Luke 17:1, Jesus said it is impossible to live this life and not have the opportunity to be offended.
"Nowadays we seem to experience more division among believers, leaders and congregations. The reason for this is that offence is very common due to lack of real love. Real love forgets wrongs so that there is hope for the future. If we have truly overcome an offence, we earnestly seek to make peace."
