WHAT YOUR PARTNER NEEDS IS JUST A LITTLE EFFORT.

Stop telling your partner to accept you the way you're. Pursue growth.

1. Your partner knows you are not perfect. What your partner desires is to see more effort from you to try to be a better person instead of fighting for growth.

2. Your partner knows you have a problem with keeping time. What your partner desires is for you to start valuing time and make an effort to improve.

3. Your partner knows you are so busy. What your partner longs for is that you make time even if it's for a few minutes to call or text or just be together briefly.

4. Your partner knows you are not in the best financial situation. What your partner desires is that you should not be too comfortable and relaxed. Contribute even if it is little, show some effort.

5. Your partner knows you lost your job. What your partner hopes is that you don't lose hope and just sit around but you be determined to get back up and find work.

6. Your partner knows that you have a vibrant social life. What your partner hopes for is that he/she can be your priority instead of making him/her feel like your friends are a threat.

7. Your partner knows that you two grew up in different backgrounds. What your partner needs from you, is for you to show some effort in trying to understand him/her.

8. Your partner knows that you're an introvert or whatever they call it. But what your partner needs from you is that when you don't feel like talking to anybody, let them be the only one you would talk to. There's absolutely no relationship without communication.

Relationships and marriages struggle when the two don't put effort when the two become self-centered when the two insist "This is who I am and I will not change". Effort means you are willing to play your role for you two to grow.
