WALKING IN THE LIGHT
Genesis 1:1-4 | John 1:1-5 | Psalms 119:130 | 1 John 1:5-7
Dr. Disciple Clinton Simwambi said that although we live in a world surrounded by darkness, we are called to walk in the light of God's Word.
Darkness manifests itself in many forms, including poverty, stagnation, cycles of debt, addictions, sickness, unforgiveness, anger, hatred, and broken relationships. However, the answer to every form of darkness is found in Christ, who is the Light of the world.
Through this profound teaching, we learned that there are two keys to walking in the light: Meditation on God's Word and Obedience to God's Word. When we hide His Word in our hearts and live according to His commands, His light shines within us, drawing us into deeper fellowship with Him and positioning us to experience His power and favor.
Meditation + Obedience = Walking in the Light.
As Dr. Disciple Clinton Simwambi emphasized, walking with Jesus is walking in the Light.
May we continually allow the light of God's Word to illuminate our hearts and guide our paths, for where His light shines, darkness cannot prevail.
