Philippians 1:14-19
14And most of the brothers, confident in the Lord by my chains, now dare more greatly to speak the wordb without fear.
15It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16The latter do so in love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.c 17The former, however, preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can add to the distress of my chains.18What then is the issue?d Just this: that in every way, whether by false motives or true, Christ is preached. And in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, 19because I know that through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, my distress will turn out for my deliverance

14. Kabili ukuposwa kwandi mu cifungo nakulenga bamunyinefwe abengi ukuba abashipa, icakuti bali abapama tabalekwata na mwenso ukufunda amashiwi ya Mfumu.
15. Bamo kwena babila Kristu ku mulandu wa mufimbila ne fikansa, lelo bambi bena mulandu wakuba abantu abasuma.
16. Aba bantu basuma bena bacita ifyo ku mulandu wa citemwiko, pantu balishiba ukuti Lesa andeta muno pakuti mombe umulimo wakupokololako Imbila Nsuma.
17. Lelo balya bambi bena tababa na cishinka mukubila Kristu. Mwabafye umutima wabukaitemwe. Batontonkanyafye pakumfushishako amacushi ilyo ncili mu cifungo.
18. Ici cena te mulandu! Lelo icintu icikalamba cakuti nangu babombe no mutima usuma nangu ubi, balebila Kristu. Elyo ici cilenga ukuti mbe ne nsansa, kabili icine cine nkalasansamuka.
19. Pantu ninjishiba ukuti pa mulandu wa ici, elyo no mulandu wa mapepo yenu na ku bwafwilisho ubufuma kuli Mupashi wakwa Yesu Kristu, nkafuma mu cifungo.
