Theme: Breaking the Prison
Reading:Acts 12v4-11
▪︎A prison or a jail is a place were someone is kept when freedom has been taken away from him or her.
▪︎One can be imprisoned by certain things like sickness,failure,poverty,sin etc.
How can we break these prisons.
1. One has to know or identify the prison were he has been kept.
2. Prayer must be offered constantly (Acts 12v5) the church continues praying for Peter even when he was in prison.
Note that the church didn't stop praying.
Satan can imprison your marriage but that doesn't me you have to give up on prayer.
3. Never doubt the instructions from God. (Acts 12v 7-8)
Peter followed everything the angel told him to do despite him been in prison.
Note that : Everyone who is imprisoned needs freedom.
How can one walk in freedom?
2cor 3v17
Prayer points.
1. Every prolonged sentence I have been serving I break today.
2. Fill me with your Spirit oh Lord so that I can see my freedom.
3. Everything prison of limitation I break
