THE GIFT OF MEN, NOT AHITHOPHEL!!

2 SAMUEL 16:20-23 ; 17:1-4

The name AHITHOPHEL means brother of folly.Names can influence the life of a person, this is why,as we name children there must be a willingness to seek God and learn what the name means. We see how AHITHOPHEL was surpresed to become exactly as his name meant.

One of the things God used in order to establish the ministry of Moses was to give him men as a gift to stand with. Anytime you find a man who's succeeding and prospering at what they are working on, know that there are other people standing with that person. This is why God gave Moses men to stand with him so as to make his life and ministry easy. (Numbers 1:5).

The gift of men that comes from God carries an impact which causes heaven to open and doors which are unseen by the eyes of natural men. Never joke with the gift of men from God. If you want to see your life experience stagnation,delays and limitations, then neglect the gift of men in your life!!

The AHITHOPHEL kind of people are those who are full of influence and are holding a big position in your life,but cannot thrive to remain faithful and loyal in all seasons. The AHITHOPHEL kind carries a spirit of rebellion, defection and betrayal. When you notice them, don't be reluctant in pursuing them. This kind pretends to be in love with you when nothing is wrong, but when they notice something wrong, they defect in rebellion by joining those against you.

SIGNS OF THIS KIND

1. You begin to see them withdrawing their availability and proximity from your company.
2. You will start to notice abominable things happening from those around you.
3. You will notice strange and unnecessary attacks and opposition from those you even trusted.
4. Your life will start to face danger.

HOW TO OVERCOME THIS KIND OF PERSON AND THEIR SPIRIT.

1. You need the knowledge about all the kinds of prayers.
2. Pray against them for God to destroy what made them who they were to you. (2 Samuel 15:31)
3. Assign someone you trust to spy closely so you may be aware of step they will be taking against you.

If you notice this kind of people in your life, quickly act and defend yourself from being finished,retaliate back.

SUNDAY EXPERIENCE WAS FIRE 🔥
by the grace of God, our man of God Prophet-Sydney MegaSon taught the church about the Spirit of Sanballat,what it does,its signs and how to overcome it. Let's take a short look at the highlights of the teaching;

EXPOSING THE SPIRIT OF SANBALLAT. ( NEHEMIAH 4:1-9 )

The spirit of Sanballat is a spirit which comes to downtalk, attempt to vanish your morale and mock your efforts at the point when you have seen progress in what you're doing, so as to stop you from being focused and determined about your purpose, assignment and destiny. The spirit of Sanballat carries a negative sense of influencing other enemies to be at their score of fighting you. The spirit of Sanballat empowers confusion in trying to stop your efforts and progress. This spirit is always far when there is nothing you're doing, it only takes place when your efforts and labour have started paying you.

The spirit of Sanballat employs others to be used in evading against those doing the right thing through hard work and sacrifice. This kind of spirit is stired when you expose your progress to ears unnecessarily,and it works along with monitoring spirits for easy access to attack. Sometimes these monitoring spirit are right in some people around us. The enemy can only attack what they know about you. The enemy strikes from the source of your strength before facing you to destroy your life's progress.

SIGNS OF THE SPIRIT OF SANBALLAT IN YOUR LIFE.

1. You will be facing humiliations and mockery.
2. When the spirit of Sanballat is in your life, you will be facing different oppositions in everything you try to do.
3. Unnecessary vented anger and haterade from those carrying this spirit against you even when you do the right thing.
4. You will be faced with so many different battles.
5. You will notice hindrances.
6. You begin to face bad luck unnecessarily.

HOW TO OVERCOME THIS SPIRIT.

1. Denounce every reproach and turn it on their own heads in the name of the LORD. NEHEMIAH 4:4
2. Ask God to judge them on your behalf. NEHEMIAH 4:5
3. Make prayer to your God. NEHEMIAH 4:9
4. Watch them as you pray. NEHEMIAH 4:9.

In this season,you're overcoming every spirit of opposition in Jesus name 🙏.
