Sunday Service
24 May 2026
Topic: Know the God of Your Father
Speaker: Elder Bofetogile

Anchor Scripture
1 Chronicles 28:9

The service began under a strong atmosphere of prayer and authority as Elder Bofetogile released declarations and decrees, taking charge over spiritual realms and shifting the atmosphere through the power of God. The church was ushered into a deep dimension of worship, prayer, and revelation.

Preaching from 1 Chronicles 28:9, Elder Bofetogile spoke on the instruction David gave to Solomon, saying, “Know the God of your father.” Among many sons, Solomon was singled out because destiny had located him. David understood that success, wisdom, strength, and preservation would not come from the throne alone, but from knowing God personally.

Elder Bofetogile emphasized that this was not just a message for Solomon, but also for the church today. As ZAOGA believers, we must know the God of Baba Ezekiel Guti. Not through stories alone, but through prayer, holiness, obedience, and encounters with Him.

The man of God taught that there are two ways of knowing God. One is through divine encounters and personal experiences with Him. The second is through the Scriptures, which is the living Word of God.

He spoke deeply about the encounter Baba Ezekiel Guti had with God in the bush, where God told him, “Fear not, sin not.” From that encounter, Baba Guti became a man consumed by the Word, prayer, fasting, and holiness. He carried grace because he carried God. He became a vessel of miracles, wisdom, deliverance, and uncommon exploits because he knew God intimately.

Elder Bofetogile challenged the church to immerse themselves in the Word of God completely. He encouraged believers to eat the Word, speak the Word, meditate on the Word, and live according to the Word. He taught that a believer who is empty of the Word becomes weak spiritually, but a believer full of the Word becomes full of power and discernment.

From Daniel 11:32b, he declared with authority that “the people who know their God shall be strong and shall do exploits.” He also read Ephesians 6:10, reminding the church to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

The teachings of Baba Guti on maturity were also highlighted. Elder Bofetogile explained that maturity keeps a believer stable in difficult times. Mature Christians do not easily give up, compromise, or backslide. They remain loyal to God, committed to prayer, faithful in giving, and rooted in holiness.

The church was warned against living powerless and defeated Christian lives. Elder Bofetogile charged believers to become Christians in every environment. At church, at home, at work, and in society, our lives must reflect Christ fully.

Ministering from John 14:12, he reminded the church that Jesus said we shall do the works He did and even greater works because He lives through us. Hebrews 11:33 was also used to show how men who knew God conquered kingdoms, obtained promises, and walked in extraordinary power through faith.

As the service progressed, Elder Bofetogile prayed fervently for the youth and imparted them with a fresh fire to walk in the beauty of holiness and in the power of God. He charged the young people to become radical in their faith, fearless in prayer, uncompromising in holiness, and fully sold out to God in this generation.

The atmosphere was filled with conviction, power, and deep hunger for God as the church received a strong reminder that when a person truly knows God, their life carries evidence. Knowing God produces strength, holiness, maturity, boldness, power, and exploits that cannot be ignored.

Sermon Title: Know Your Position in Christ
Speaker: Evangelist Jena

Anchor Scripture

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.”
— 2 Corinthians 10:3

The atmosphere of the service was charged with the power and presence of the Holy Spirit as Evangelist Jena delivered a prophetic and deeply anointed message that shook the hearts of believers and exalted the Lordship of Jesus Christ above every power of darkness. From the moment he stood to minister, there was a strong sense that God was calling His people into a higher dimension of spiritual authority, discernment, and victory.

Evangelist Jena began by declaring that many believers are suffering not because God has abandoned them, but because they do not know their position in Christ. He taught from 2 Corinthians 10:3 that although believers walk in the flesh, their battles are not physical. The enemy fights spiritually through fear, discouragement, deception, sickness, confusion, temptation, and accusation.

With great spiritual weight, he warned the church not to become ignorant of the devices of Satan, but at the same time cautioned believers not to demonise everything. He explained that discernment is one of the greatest weapons of a mature believer because not every battle is visible to the human eye.

Referring to Ephesians 6:12, Evangelist Jena thundered:

“Your enemy is not flesh and blood! Your battle is spiritual!”

He declared that many people spend years fighting people while the real enemy operates behind the scenes, manipulating minds, destroying confidence, attacking prayer lives, and weakening faith. But he reminded the church that no demon, no altar, and no kingdom of darkness can stand before the authority of Jesus Christ.

The sermon intensified as Evangelist Jena reflected on the deception in the Garden of Eden. The serpent approached Eve with one dangerous question:

“Did God really say?”

He explained that Satan still uses the same strategy today. The devil attacks the Word first because he knows that when faith is weakened, destiny becomes vulnerable. He comes to whisper lies into the minds of believers:

> “You are forgotten.”
“You will never recover.”
“Your situation is permanent.”
“God has left you.”

But Evangelist Jena declared with power:

“The devil is a liar! Jesus did not bring you this far to abandon you!”

The church erupted in worship as the Evangelist proclaimed that Satan’s greatest assignment is accusation. Reading from Revelation 12:10, he described the enemy as the accuser of the brethren, reminding the congregation how Satan appeared before God to accuse Job. He explained that the enemy constantly reminds people of their past, their weakness, and their failures in order to keep them bound in condemnation.

Then with prophetic authority he cried out:

“When Satan accuses you, remind him that you have a Lawyer in Heaven!”

At that moment the atmosphere became electric with faith as he lifted up the name of Jesus Christ. He declared that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for His children. Heaven is not silent concerning the believer. While Satan accuses, Jesus defends. While hell fights, Jesus delivers. While darkness rises, the blood of Jesus still speaks.

Evangelist Jena began to exalt the supremacy of Christ with great boldness, declaring:

“Jesus is Lord over witchcraft!
Jesus is Lord over sickness!
Jesus is Lord over fear!
Jesus is Lord over death!
Jesus is Lord over every principality and every power!”

He proclaimed that there is no throne above the throne of Jesus Christ and no power greater than His power. Every knee must bow before Him because He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Ministering from Luke 4:18, Evangelist Jena taught that Jesus came with divine authority to heal the brokenhearted, restore sight to the blind, deliver captives, and set the oppressed free. He declared that Christ did not die so believers could remain chained by fear, depression, addiction, generational curses, or spiritual oppression.

Again and again he cried:

“Know your position in Christ!”

He reminded the church that believers are seated spiritually with Christ and have authority through His name. The devil only oppresses those who do not know who they are. But when a believer understands their covenant with God, fear loses its power.

Evangelist Jena declared prophetically:

“Your tomorrow is not in the hands of men — your tomorrow is in the hands of God!”

He ministered healing and restoration to those who were wounded, rejected, weary, and spiritually exhausted. Like blind Bartimaeus crying, “Son of David, have mercy on me,” believers were encouraged to cry out to Jesus with desperation and faith because mercy still flows from the throne of Heaven.

Quoting Isaiah 40:31, he encouraged the church never to give up:

> “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.”

He declared that those who have been delayed shall rise again, those who have been attacked shall recover again, and those who have been buried under battles shall soar again through the power of God.

The sermon reached a thunderous climax with Colossians 2:15 as Evangelist Jena proclaimed that through the Cross, Jesus disarmed principalities and powers and triumphed over them openly.

Calvary was not defeat, it was victory.

At the Cross:
Satan was defeated.
Witchcraft was defeated.
Death was defeated.
Every curse was defeated.

With deep spiritual authority he declared:

“No witchcraft can bury what God has ordained!
No foreign power can silence a child of God!
No darkness can overcome the light of Christ!”

The service ended under a heavy atmosphere of worship, deliverance, and victory as the church celebrated Jesus Christ, of the risen King, the conquering Lion of Judah, the Defender of His people, and the eternal Lord whose power can never fail.

Forerunner: Elder S. Bathusi
Sermon Title: God is Faithful

Anchor Scripture
Numbers 23:19–21

Elder S. Bathusi delivered a deeply spiritual and emotional sermon that touched the hearts of many in the congregation. The atmosphere in the church became heavy with reflection as she spoke about the faithfulness of God during seasons of waiting, pain, and uncertainty.

She reminded the church that people may disappoint us, situations may change, and life may become difficult, but God remains faithful to His Word. What He promises, He fulfils. What He speaks, He brings to pass. God does not forget His children, even when the waiting season becomes long and painful.

Isaiah 55:11

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void...”

Elder Bathusi spoke passionately about Abraham and Sarah, explaining how God gave them a promise that seemed impossible in human eyes. Time passed. Their bodies became old. Hope became difficult to hold onto. Naturally, they began questioning how God would fulfil such a promise.

She explained how waiting can become painful when heaven seems silent. Sometimes people pray, fast, cry, and believe, yet nothing appears to move. It is in those moments that doubt slowly enters the heart.

As Abraham and Sarah waited, Hagar entered the story. Ishmael was born, but Ishmael was never the original plan of God. Isaac was the promise. Elder Bathusi explained that whenever people become impatient and run ahead of God, they often create wounds, confusion, and burdens that God never intended for them to carry.

With emotion in her voice, she warned the church not to “help God” because of frustration or delay. She encouraged believers not to compromise because marriage is delaying, because children are delaying, because financial breakthrough is delaying, or because life is not moving according to personal expectations.

She reminded the church that God’s silence does not mean His absence. Even when nothing seems to be happening, God is still working behind the scenes.

Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you... thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Elder Bathusi encouraged those who feel forgotten, tired, or discouraged to continue holding onto God. She reminded the congregation that God’s timing is different from human timing, but His plans are always perfect.

She also reflected on the journey of Baba Ezekiel H. Guti, speaking about the many hardships, rejection, opposition, and painful seasons he endured throughout ministry. Yet despite every challenge, he remained faithful to God and refused to give up. Through every storm, God sustained him and fulfilled His purpose in his life.

Romans 8:37
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

The sermon became a message of hope to those carrying silent battles. Elder Bathusi encouraged the church not to lose heart while waiting on God. The promise may delay, but it will surely come. God has not forgotten His people.

She concluded by encouraging everyone to remain prayerful, faithful, and patient because the God who promised is still able to deliver.

11/05/2026

As we celebrated the 66th Anniversary of ZAOGA FIFMI, our YG & C.E members presented a powerful and touching short play portraying how our father, Ezekiel H. Guti, first heard the message of salvation.

One day, his mother, Mbuya Dorcus, heard about the terrible punishment awaiting sinners. Deeply moved, she shared the same message with her children — Handinawangu, Nelson, Sarah, and young Ezekiel. The message pierced Ezekiel’s heart so deeply that he could not sleep that night. Early the next morning, he asked his mother where he could find someone to explain more about salvation.

At that time, there were no churches or preachers nearby. Driven by a deep hunger to know God, Ezekiel would go into the jungle and lie upon a rock, praying earnestly: “Creator! If You are there, save my soul.”

He continued doing this for several weeks. Then one day, he heard beautiful melodious music and a voice saying: “Fear not, sin not.”

Determined to understand this divine encounter, Ezekiel searched for someone who could explain salvation to him. Eventually, he found a simple man — barefoot, yet rich in the knowledge of God.

Later, while in Highfield, the Lord instructed him to go to Bindura, a place where no one would trouble him. There, he began singing, preaching, and sharing the Gospel, and many people gave their lives to Christ.

On the 12th of May 1960, the ministry of ZAOGA FIFMI was born.

SUNDAY SERVICE | KASANE ISRAEL DISTRICT
03 MAY 2026
SERMON: Understanding What We Believe In
PREACHER: Rev EJ

Anchor Scripture
Acts 8:30–33

The service carried a deep sense of God’s nearness. Rev EJ ministered with weight and clarity, reminding the church that we are a highly favoured people. She declared that May is a month of remembrance, a time to look back and recognise the hand of God that has carried us through His servant Baba Guti, as we mark 66 years of grace and preservation. She called each one to remember personally what God has done, because remembrance strengthens faith.

Rev EJ taught that many are hungry for God, yet lack understanding. She made it clear that passion without understanding can lead a person in the wrong direction. From Matthew 28:20, she emphasised that we are called not only to hear, but to observe, align, and live the Word as it was given.

She declared that our doctrine remains firmly rooted in the Word of God, and when the Word is absent, error finds its way in. Drawing from Acts 8, she spoke of the Ethiopian who was reading but did not understand, and said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” showing that understanding is not automatic, it is received through guidance.

Rev EJ went deeper and showed that understanding produces stability. When Paul and Silas were in chains, they did not break down, they lifted their voices in praise. Their situation did not define them, because they knew the God they believed in. Where there is understanding, fear cannot dominate.

From Exodus 3, she brought the church to a place of reflection. Moses removed his shoes before the burning bush. Rev EJ declared that there are things we carry that must be laid down if we are to encounter God. There are weights in life that cannot enter certain dimensions. Leave them.

Quoting Acts 17:30, she reminded the church that there was a time of ignorance, but now God calls His people to rise into understanding. This is not a season to remain the same.

Rev EJ proclaimed that we serve a God who still opens doors where there are none, heals beyond human explanation, restores what seemed lost, and lifts a person from nothing to something. As it is written in Isaiah 60:22, a little one shall become a thousand. What looks small in your life will not remain small.

She encouraged the church with Joshua 1:9 to be strong and courageous, and reminded us that we are a chosen generation, a people that cannot be shaken when rooted in God. Those who trust in Him stand like Mount Zion.

She affirmed the foundation we hold in ZAOGA, fear not, sin not.

In closing, Rev EJ spoke into the days ahead. Do not be anxious about tomorrow. The God who sustained the Israelites with manna is still at work. Provision will locate you. Doors will open. What God has spoken will stand.

When you understand what you believe in, the Word of God moves from pages into life.

19/04/2026

Sunday, 19 April 2026.

The church sat in quiet expectation as Rev EJ rose to minister on the theme, “The Power of the Word of God.”

She began with Hebrews 4:12:

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword...”

She reminded the congregation that the Word of God never changes. What God spoke thousands of years ago still carries the same authority today. People may change, circumstances may change and the world may change, but the Word of God remains the same forever.

She explained that the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is not merely words written on paper; it is God speaking into every situation. Whenever God speaks, His Word accomplishes exactly what He intends.

Reading from Isaiah 55:11, she declared:

“So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose.”

The preacher compared the Word of God to rain falling upon dry ground. Just as rain causes the earth to grow and change, the Word of God brings life, healing, hope and transformation wherever it is received.

She reminded the church that people may fail and promises may be broken, but the Word of God never fails.

> “Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.” — Psalm 119:89

She encouraged the congregation to keep the Word in their hearts, referring to the words of David:

“Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” — Psalm 119:11

According to the sermon, whatever fills the heart eventually comes out through the mouth. If the heart is filled with fear, fear will be spoken. If it is filled with faith, faith will be spoken. The congregation was therefore urged to stop speaking defeat, failure and discouragement.

The sermon then turned to Jesus Christ, who was described as the living Word.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” — John 1:1

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” — John 1:14

It was explained that when people receive Jesus Christ, they receive the living Word, together with salvation, healing and restoration.

The story of the centurion was then used to show the power of believing God’s Word. The centurion said to Jesus Christ:

“Only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.” — Matthew 8:8

The centurion understood that one word from Jesus Christ was enough to change the situation. He did not need Him to come physically to his house; he believed in the authority of His Word.

The congregation was then challenged to think about the words they had been speaking over their own lives. Many people speak fear over their future, sickness over their bodies and defeat over their homes.

Two scriptures were read:

> “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you.” — Job 22:28

> “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21

The church was encouraged to speak words that agree with God’s promises:

I am blessed.
I am healed.
I am victorious.
God is with me.
My future is secure in Christ.

The sermon continued with the story of the twelve spies. Ten of them returned from the Promised Land full of fear, but Joshua and Caleb spoke differently.

“Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” — Numbers 13:30

The difference was not in what they saw, but in what they chose to say. While the ten spies spoke doubt and defeat, Joshua and Caleb spoke with faith.

Finally, the sermon referred to Peter and John at the gate called Beautiful. A man who had been lame from birth sat there begging, but Peter declared:

“Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” — Acts 3:6

Immediately the man was healed. The miracle came because the Word was spoken with faith.

As the sermon came to an end, the congregation was urged to read the Word, believe the Word, keep it in their hearts and speak it daily. The closing reminder was simple and powerful: when the Word of God is spoken in faith, it will accomplish exactly what God intends.
