THEME: DON’T BE AFRAID
Scripture: 1 Kings 6:1–20
Beloved family in Christ, today the Lord is speaking to us under the theme “Don’t Be Afraid.”
In 1 Kings 6:1–20, we see Solomon beginning the great work of building the temple of the Lord. This was not a small project. It required obedience, faith, patience, and courage. Solomon could have been afraid — afraid of the size of the work, afraid of failure, afraid of responsibility. But he moved forward because God had spoken.
👉 Lesson number one: Don’t be afraid to start what God has instructed you to do.
When God gives you a vision, fear will always try to stop you. Fear will say, “You are not enough.” Fear will say, “It’s too big.” But the temple was not built by Solomon’s strength — it was built by God’s guidance.
👉 Lesson number two: God works from the inside before He is revealed on the outside.
Verse 15–20 shows how the inside of the temple was carefully prepared before the glory was revealed. Child of God, don’t be afraid when God is working on your heart, your character, your faith. What He is building inside you is preparing you for His glory.
👉 Lesson number three: Where God dwells, fear cannot remain.
The temple was a place for God’s presence. When God’s presence is with you, fear must leave. Fear and God’s presence cannot live in the same place. If God is with you, why should you be afraid?
📖 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”
Beloved, don’t be afraid:
Don’t be afraid to trust God
Don’t be afraid to obey
Don’t be afraid to build again
Don’t be afraid to move forward
What God started in your life, He will finish it.
As Burning Bush Ministries International Church, Kasama, we declare today:
Fear will not stop us. Fear will not silence us. Fear will not destroy what God is building.
Be strong. Be courageous. God is with you 🔥🙌
Don’t be afraid.
