The promise alone is not enough. God does His part, then He waits to see what we’re going to do. What are you going to mix with the promise?

READ THE FINE PRINT

📝TODAY'S SCRIPTURE Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?’ Amos 3:3 NKJV📕

WORD FOR TODAY🔡
When it comes to forming relationships, read the fine print. Somewhere in the fine print of meeting, dating, and interacting with someone, it warned you, albeit ever-so-slightly, that they were going to be a certain way. The red flags were always there, even though they started out as a lovely shade of pale pink. You saw how quickly he got angry. You knew she was always late when you picked her up. He invariably went into a panic checking every line item on the restaurant bill. She never failed to flirt with the waiter—and anyone else who looked her way. You noticed, but you didn’t listen to the little voice inside of you.
Before you order something, it’s always wise to read the fine print to make sure you can afford the payments. Maybe the fine print became obvious when you saw how he interacted with his family—or didn’t! Maybe it was in the way his eyes lingered on every woman who walked by. Or in the phone calls she took out of earshot when you were around. Chances are you saw it, but you didn’t pay attention. You overlooked the temper tantrums, the possessiveness, the jealousy, and lack of integrity, thinking you could change the other person, or that they’d change for you. Now you know better.
There’s a reason the Bible asks, ‘Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?’ Yes, the God who gives ‘beauty for ashes’ can change your partner’s heart (see Isaiah 61:3). But if you’re dating or considering a long-term relationship, pray about it and read the fine print.

🙏🏿PRAYER FOR TODAY Thank you Father for the Word. In Jesus Name. Amen🙏🏿💕

WHEN YOU HAVE A VISION

📝TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ‘I was not disobedient to the vision.’ Acts 26:19 NIV📕

WORD FOR TODAY 🔡
When God gives you a vision for your life, you need to know how to:
(1) Hold it. Your vision is governed by a time frame: ‘If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place.’(Habakkuk 2:3 NLT) Some of us can conceive a vision, but we can’t carry it to full term because we’re not willing to endure the stretching and discomfort involved. We rush ahead of God and our vision is stillborn, or too weak to survive. Jesus said, ‘That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.’(John 3:6 KJV) When your vision is born of the Spirit, it’ll be sustained by the Spirit. But when it’s born of the flesh, you’re on your own!
(2) Hide it. It’s a mistake to share your vision with those who can’t appreciate it. Joseph did that, and he landed in a pit. Not everybody will celebrate your success, especially if your light shines brighter than theirs. So ask God for discernment. Judas may seem like your friend right now, but inevitably he’ll betray you.
(3) Water it. Read these two Scriptures carefully and prayerfully: ‘David encouraged himself in the Lord’ (1 Samuel 30:6 KJV); ‘Building up yourselves on your most holy faith.’(Jude 1:20 KJV) You must know how to encourage and build yourself up spiritually and how to water your vision. God told Habakkuk, ‘Write the vision, and make it plain.’(Habakkuk 2:2 KJV) Write your vision on a card and carry it with you. And start acting like the person you expect to be when it becomes reality—and it will!

GET IT INTO YOU!

📝TODAY'S SCRIPTURE
‘Then you will be prosperous and successful.’ Joshua 1:8 NIV📕

WORD FOR TODAY 🔡
God told Joshua: ‘This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and you will have good success.’ (Joshua 1:8 NKJV) God views success as simple to achieve, and equally simple for Him to measure. If we are going to succeed in things that really matter, we must follow the instructions for life found in Scripture.
First, look it up. ‘This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth.’ In other words, ‘Don’t leave home without it!’ Success entails making the study of God’s Word a constant part of your life. This may mean a radical change for you. In a survey commissioned by the Church of England in 2017, 55% of people who identify as Christian never read the Bible, 29% never pray, and 33% never go to church. Only 6% of adults in Britain said they were ‘practising’ Christians. Quite probably similar statistics apply for Australia.
Imagine going to a doctor when you’re sick and getting a prescription that can make you well. But you only take it once a month, or when you feel like it. Would you blame the doctor for not getting well? Some of us do that with God: ‘Lord, why has this happened to me? I don’t understand it.’ Would you say the medicine doesn’t work? Not if you don’t take it.
‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.’ (Hosea 4:6 KJV) So the word for you today is: get into God’s Word and get it into you!

🙏🏿PRAYER FOR TODAY Thank you Father for the Word. In Jesus Name. Amen🙏💕

It’s not about moving as fast as you can, it’s about how filled you can live with patience. Nothing moves faster than the feeling of patience, and everything happens when it’s meant to. We attract what we are allowing ourselves to feel. Be thankful to be alive within this moment.

Recognise Your Season!

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and he said, “Without any doubt the Lord is in this place, and I did not realize it.”
So he was afraid and said, “How fearful and awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gateway to heaven.”
Genesis 28:16, 17

It’s surprising to see home many believers appear ignorant of Gods agenda for their lives. Such miss out on God promises and blessings because we have not learned to key into the seasons God has set for us.

We see in the above scripture, that Jacob slept the whole night in a Holy place. He was unaware the area was a place of visitation. If Jacob knew that the place He was in was Holy, or was a gateway to heaven we can only speculate how he would have prepared himself. Thankfully Jacob recognised afterwards and made a sacrifice to God.

Beloveds, God functions in times and seasons (Daniel 2:21). God expects believers to participate in the times and seasons he has set for us (Isaiah 43:19; Acts 17:26 - 27).

Beloveds May we not be ignorant of the Lords agenda as we enter 2019. Let’s not be like Jacob who was unaware he was in a place of visitation. In the remaining days of this year, let’s press into God seeking His face that He reveals his agenda for 2019. May we become active participants in His will for our lives and see results in 2019!

God Bless You!
