From the industrious city of Chingola to the growing mission fields of Kalulushi North, Pastor Mwale Kenny Randy stands as a compelling testimony of divine calling, resilience, and unwavering commitment to evangelism. Known for his calm demeanor and intense spiritual focus, Pastor Mwale’s journey is one marked by obedience to God’s voice—even when it meant letting go of earthly success for eternal significance.
Born on the 18th of December 1983 in Chingola, Copperbelt Province, Pastor Mwale was nurtured in a godly home. His early exposure to faith took root deeply, and though his initial academic steps led him into engineering, the calling to ministry never left his heart. He was baptized on 21st May 2002 at Twatasha SDA Church, a day he still treasures as the start of his visible walk with Christ.
Before he wore the robe of a preacher, he donned the lab coat of an engineer. Pastor Mwale graduated from Copperbelt University with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and later earned a Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health from Northern Technical College. He worked with ZESCO for ten years, rising to the position of manager. But even as success surrounded him, God’s call to serve became louder. In 2015, with clarity and courage, he resigned and enrolled at Rusangu University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology—finally stepping fully into the life God had prepared for him.
He is married to Chisala Kabwesha Mwale, a spiritual woman of strength and serenity, who has stood by him like a pillar through every season of ministry. Their family is blessed with two wonderful children—Rochelle (13), a girl, and Shakhinah (11), a boy—and they currently reside at NAPSA Housing Complex in Kalulushi.
Since entering pastoral ministry in 2021, Pastor Mwale has served faithfully in two districts: Chambishi Mission District (2021–2025) and now Kalulushi North Mission District (2025 to date). His leadership style is intentional, people-centered, and firmly rooted in the Bible.
A man of many talents and deep convictions, Pastor Mwale has led several evangelistic campaigns across Zambia, including Kitwe, Rufunsa, Mufulira, and Chambishi. Through his preaching, churches have been born and lives transformed. Under his leadership, churches such as Westpark, Musakashi West, and Ebenezer have been organized, and congregations like Rufunsa East and Citwe have been planted. Each church, for him, is not a number—but a soul story of God’s saving grace.
His ministry is anchored in the truth of 𝟐 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟐𝟏, which speaks of Christ becoming sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God. “𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙤 𝙄 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚,” he says.
Pastor Mwale’s philosophy of ministry is simple yet profound: to share the good news of Jesus Christ with all people, grounded in love and humility. His personal walk is built on spiritual disciplines such as prayer, fasting, worship, Bible study, and silence before God. When challenges arise, he faces them with humility, long-suffering, and earnest prayer—trusting God to make a way even when there seems to be none.
God’s faithfulness, he says, has been his anchor in the most uncertain times: “𝙃𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩 𝙢𝙚. 𝙒𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨.”
Balancing ministry and family is not a challenge, but a sacred rhythm. Pastor Mwale intentionally includes his family in almost all ministry activities. His wife is not just a helper—she is his prayer partner, encourager, and constant supporter. “𝙎𝙝𝙚’𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙣𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙣,” he says with a smile.
Outside the pulpit, Pastor Mwale blends in as a warm and approachable community member. He engages with the local people without bias and shows love across all spiritual affiliations. For him, ministry is life—not just a Sabbath duty.
One of the most defining moments in his journey was when his own mother surrendered her life to Christ during one of his camp meeting sermons. Watching her get baptized and join the Dorcas Society remains a deeply emotional and fulfilling memory. “𝙄 𝙨𝙖𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙢𝙮 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚,” he reflects.
Looking ahead, Pastor Mwale dreams of becoming a tele-evangelist—not for fame, but to take the gospel to places beyond physical reach. He desires to acquire all the tools needed to create, produce, and broadcast powerful messages that touch lives both locally and globally.
To young ministers just stepping into the vineyard, his advice is packed with wisdom and hope:
> ““𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃. 𝐈𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, 𝐇𝐞 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧.”
– 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟐𝟗:𝟏𝟏
In Pastor Randy Mwale, we see not just a preacher, but a shepherd—one who listens, leads, and lays down his all for the flock entrusted to him. He is a soul-winner, a visionary, a family man, and a humble servant of the Most High God.
Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Pastor Mwale Kenny Randy – a quiet giant of faith whose life continues to echo the call: “Go ye therefore and make disciples…” 🙌🔥
