Two great deceptions prepare the world for the final crisis: false worship and life in death.
The first replaces God’s authority with man’s tradition. But the Bible says, “the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God” (Exodus 20:10), and Revelation calls the final generation to “worship Him who made heaven and earth” (Revelation 14:7).
The second teaches that the dead are still alive and conscious. But Scripture says plainly, “the dead know nothing” (Ecclesiastes 9:5). Immortality is not something man naturally possesses — it is given at the resurrection, when “this mortal must put on immortality” (1 Corinthians 15:52–53).
This matters because if people believe the dead can speak, they are already prepared for spiritualism. Apparitions, visions, or messages claiming to be from departed loved ones are not the dead returning — they are deceptions. The Bible teaches that the dead sleep until the resurrection.
One error attacks true worship.
The other opens the door to supernatural deception.
God’s people will not be led by tradition, emotion, fear, or lying wonders. They will stand on Scripture.
“Here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
Revelation 14:12
