*TODAY'S DEVOTION *THEME:*NO SITUATION IS IMPOSSIBLE.*
SCRIPTURE READING: NUMBERS 20:3-9
INTRODUCTION:
✅When we are faced with an impossible situation, the reflex action is to complain and look for someone to blame.
✅The children of Israel blamed Moses.
✅How do we handle impossible situations?
According to the passage:

1. *We can murmur and quarrel vv 3-4*
They quarreled with Moses and blamed him for lack of water. Although he did not cause it, people heaped the complaints on him.
*Question* : 🔥when you are faced with an impossible situation, how do you react? Do you quarrel or murmur?

2. *We can opted to go back to old ways vv5.*
🔥They preferred the life in Egypt though they had cried for help.
🔥They forgot the many years of suffering just because of a temporary test.
*Question* : 🔥where do you go when you are faced with an impossible situation. Do you go forward or backwards?

3. *We can turn to God in obedience vv 6-8*
🔥Moses' response was to cry before God. He fell on his face because only God can change impossible situations.
*Question* : 🔥How intimate is your prayer life. Do you instinctively think of prayer when you are faced with an impossible situation?
*Conclusion:* 🔥complaining complicates situation, going back cancels progress, prayers changes situations. Blessings to us all.🙏🙏

*Let us Prayer*

Lord, I step into today with open hands and a surrendered heart.
Thank You for waking me up and giving me another chance to walk with You.

Be my wisdom in decisions, my calm in the chaos, and my strength when I feel stretched.
Go ahead of me into every room I enter, every message I send, every task I touch.
Let what I do today carry purpose, not just busyness.

Guard my thoughts from negativity and my tongue from careless words.
Help me to be present with the people You place in my path — to listen well, love well, and serve well.
If I face pressure today, remind me that You are my peace.
If I face opportunity, remind me that You are my source.

I don’t know everything today holds, but I know the One who holds today.
So I choose faith over fear, and trust over worry.
Establish the work of my hands, and let it bring You glory.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

*Verse for Today:*
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Our Heavenly Father, God Almighty,

We come before You today, Sunday the 7th of June 2026, as Your family at Pilgrim Wesleyan Church. We thank You that You are the Beginning of knowledge, the Author of truth, and the One who declared “I am the Truth” - John 14:6.

In this generation of so much information, anchor our minds in Your Spirit. Renew our thinking by Your Word - Romans 12:2. Let the fear of the Lord be the foundation of all we learn, all we speak, and all we decide.

We bring before You our hands and our hearts. Whether salary, business profit, bonuses, or unexpected gifts — all of it is Your increase. Teach us to honor You first with the tithe, and to respond with cheerful thanksgiving offerings. For _every good and perfect gift is from above_ - James 1:17.

Father, for our nation Zambia, we ask for Your hand. May our beloved Christian Nation remain a place the Spirit refreshes, not drains. Place Your wisdom, justice, mercy, and truth in the hearts of every leader — in the ruling party and in opposition. Remind us that things in politics work well when You are at the center.

Guard our hearts, Lord. Where we are tempted to fight and insult, remind us that fighting and insulting are signs of a weak mind in need of Your renewal. Make us people who speak truth, but always in love - Ephesians 4:15.

Today as we worship, refresh us. Fill this house with faith, hope, and love. Build us up as one family, so our community sees Jesus in how we treat each other.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

RENEWED AND UNITED FOR GREATER EXPANSION

01/06/2026

Heavenly Father,
We enter June 2026 with hearts burning from Pentecost Sunday. The same fire that Moses met at the bush to redeem the Israelites, is the same fire that appeared in the Pentecostal upper room, and is the same fire that we have received by faith — because You are our God who does not change.

We continue in our theme _RENEWED AND UNITED FOR GREATER EXPANSION_, now with the sub-theme _Walking in the Unchanging Fire to Build and Advance_. You who called Moses, filled the apostles, and filled us, are still speaking and sending today.

Lord, let this unchanging fire purify us, empower us, and direct us. Just as Moses was commissioned to deliver a nation, and the apostles were sent to disciple nations, now commission us afresh. May no Pilgrim Wesleyan Church in Zambia lack the boldness, wisdom, and power to fulfill Your Great Commission.

Father, let the fire we received produce lasting fruit. Turn every encounter into action. Let June be a month where altars are built, workers are called, churches are planted, and communities are transformed. May the same Spirit that led Israel by fire now lead us to possess new territories for Your Kingdom.

We resist every voice that says the fire has lifted. You do not change. Your fire does not go out. Bind every spirit of fear, division, and delay. Keep us united around Your presence as Israel was united around the pillar of fire. Let our love for one another prove that we carry Your flame.

Supply every need for the work You have shown us. Protect every family, pastor, and missionary as we move. Let the evidence of Your unchanging fire be seen in souls saved, believers baptized in the Holy Spirit, leaders raised, and churches strengthened.

We are Your people, redeemed and filled by the same fire. Here we are, Lord — send us.
We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Life often brings challenges that remind us of our limitations. Yet God does not ask us to rely on our own strength. His grace is enough for every situation we face. When we feel weak, discouraged, or overwhelmed, God’s power is able to work through us in ways we could never achieve on our own. Instead of being defeated by our weaknesses, we can trust that Christ is strengthening us and carrying us forward each day.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your sufficient grace. In moments of weakness, help us to depend on You and not on our own strength. Let Your power be made perfect in our lives, and may we walk with confidence knowing that You are with us. Strengthen our faith, encourage our hearts, and help us to glorify You in every circumstance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Giving is not just about money; it is about the posture of our hearts. God desires willing hearts that give with joy, love, and gratitude. Whether it is our time, support, kindness, or resources, cheerful giving reflects the nature of Christ in us. When we give freely and faithfully, we become vessels God can use to bless and expand His kingdom.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for all that You have blessed us with. Help us to be cheerful and willing givers, serving You with joyful hearts. Teach us to give in love, faith, and obedience, knowing that every seed sown for Your glory brings impact and transformation. May our lives reflect generosity and unity as we continue to grow in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

As believers, we are called to reflect the heart of Christ in how we love, serve, forgive, and uplift one another. True unity is built when humility, compassion, and selflessness become our daily mindset. When we walk together in the spirit of Christ, we create room for greater impact, growth, and expansion in God’s kingdom.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help us to carry Your heart in every relationship and interaction. Teach us to walk in humility, unity, and love as one body. May our lives reflect Your character and may we grow stronger together for Your purpose and glory. Amen.
