People will SECRETLY benefit from you…
then PUBLICLY honor others.

They will call you in private when they need wisdom, help, support, prayer, strategy, connections, comfort, or strength…
but when it’s time to give credit, suddenly your name disappears.

Some people will drink from your well while pretending they never needed water.

And if you are not careful, you will spend your whole life pouring into people who only value you in silence.

Sometimes the silence around your name is intentional.

Learn this:
Access is a privilege, not a right.

Stop forcing loyalty from people who only remember you when they are desperate.
Stop chasing appreciation from people committed to overlooking you.
Stop keeping people close who only honor you in hidden places.

Protect your energy.
Protect your heart.
Protect your purpose.

The most dangerous people are not always your enemies. Sometimes it is the ones benefiting from you while acting like you never mattered.

And no… cutting people off is not hatred.
Sometimes it is wisdom.
Sometimes it is healing.
Sometimes it is the only way to stop bleeding emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially.

Know your value.
What God placed inside you is too precious to be constantly consumed by ungrateful people.

One day, people will realize the value of what they had access to after the door is closed.

Not everybody deserves permanent access to you.

ASCEND DAILY — 7 May 2026

Theme: Grace to Keep Going

Scripture:

“Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
— Galatians 6:9

Devotional Thought:
There are moments in the journey where progress feels slow and strength feels low. In those moments, the enemy whispers that your efforts are pointless. But God reminds you today that consistency in obedience always produces a harvest.

Do not mistake silence for absence. God is working beneath the surface even when you cannot immediately see results. Every prayer, every act of faithfulness, every hidden sacrifice is building toward something greater.

The key is to keep going.

Do not stop sowing because you are tired. Do not abandon the vision because the process is demanding. Due season is attached to perseverance.

Your ascent continues every time you refuse to quit.

Prayer:
Father, strengthen me where I feel weary. Renew my heart and restore my passion for the assignment You have given me. Help me remain faithful until the harvest comes forth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration:
I will not grow weary. I remain faithful in every season. My harvest is coming, and I continue to ascend by God’s grace.
