Pentecost 2026: Chief Apostle Arrives in Cape Town

The Chief Apostle, Jean-Luc Schneider, has safely arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, ahead of the Pentecost celebrations.

District Apostles and District Apostle Helpers are also arriving, while others are still en route.

In the lead-up to Pentecost, the Chief Apostle Helper, District Apostles, and District Apostle Helpers will conduct midweek Divine Services across the Greater Cape Town metropolitan area. The Chief Apostle and his entourage will attend the International District Apostle Meeting (21–22 May) and a concert in Silvertown on Saturday, 23 May, which will be broadcast globally.

The Pentecost Divine Service will be held on Sunday, 24 May at Tafelsig Church in Cape Town, conducted by the Chief Apostle. It will be broadcast live at 10:00 a.m. via NACTV (free-to-air set-top boxes), YouTube, and Cape TV.

THE DISTRICT RECTOR PAUL CHIFWA VISITS ESTATES CONGREGATION

District Rector, Paul Chifwa, conducted a Divine Service at Estates Congregation. In his company were ADR Ian Masiye, ADR Nephas Chamudulungwe, Congregation Rectors (CRs), and other ministers from Kafue West District.

For this Divine Service, the Bible reading was taken from the Book of Acts 1:8

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

THEME: Called to Bear Witness

MESSAGE: Let us Bear Witness to Jesus Christ.

SUMMARY
i. The power of the Holy Spirit is divine empowerment that guides, comforts, and strengthens us in our walk with God.

ii. We are not called God’s children for nothing; God has called us for a purpose.

iii. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to nurture and lead us in a way that is pleasing before God.

iv. Without repentance, we shall not inherit the goodness of God.

v. Jesus has prepared a place for all of us, and we shall see Him only if we repent and remain faithful.

vi. Let us learn to forgive one another and live in love and unity.
