ELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT

We are delighted to announce that Rev. Cynthia Kabanda Shanzi has been elected as the 1st Presbytery Secretary for the UCZ Lusaka East Presbytery
This is a historic moment as she becomes the first to serve in this office for our Presbytery.
We congratulate Rev. Shanzi and pray that God grants her wisdom, strength, and grace as she undertakes this important responsibility in serving the church and the body of Christ.

May the Lord bless her ministry.

Let us Pray 🙏

Lord Jesus, as the sun sets and the day draws to a close, we pause to bring You our gratitude. Thank You for sustaining us through every hour that has passed, for every subtle grace we received, and for bringing us safely to this moment of rest.

Father, as we reflect on the day behind us, we place all our efforts, unfinished tasks, and quiet worries into Your hands. Forgive us where we fell short, grant us wisdom from what we experienced, and help us release every burden we were never meant to carry through the night.

We ask for Your divine protection over our minds, bodies, and homes as we sleep. Shield us from fear and restlessness, guard our spirit against anxiety, and grant us the deep, restorative health and peace that only You can provide.

Holy Spirit, quiet our racing thoughts and still our hearts. Teach us to trust that while we rest, You remain at work—aligning our paths and preparing the way for tomorrow.

We lay down tonight completely at peace, confident that You surround us, watch over those we love, and hold our future secure.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
