Today Kawama SDA family stood together to lay to rest the grandfather of Brother Jacob Simwanza.

With heavy hearts but firm hope, we placed flowers and offered prayers, committing our beloved grandpa to the Lord who is _“the resurrection and the life.”_ – John 11:25

Thank you to everyone who came out to support, sing, and surround the family with love. In moments like this, we are reminded that we do not mourn as those without hope, but we trust in the promise of the resurrection.

May God continue to comfort Jacob and his family, and may the unity we’ve shown remind them they are not alone.

Rest in peace, and strength to the family.

- Location:Seven Conner burial site
- Time: 9:00 AM
- Service: The service will take place at the burial site

Church family, let’s continue to stand with Jacob and his family in this difficult time. Come in numbers as we support them and commit their loved one to God’s care.

Sabbath hits different when we celebrate together

Today at Kawama SDA, our main service was filled with joy as we honored World Adventurer Day. Seeing our youth and Pathfinders sitting together, engaged and present, reminds us that ministry is alive in every generation.

_“One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.” – Psalm 145:4_

Thank you to every young person who showed up to worship, serve, and be part of the celebration. You are the church of today, not just tomorrow.

Happy Preparation Day,
Kawama SDA family 🙏🏾
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Exodus 20:8

As the sun sets today, we pause to lay aside the week’s burdens and prepare our hearts, homes, and minds to meet with Jesus tomorrow. It’s more than cleaning and cooking it’s about making room for His presence.

May we all enter Sabbath with joy, ready to worship together.

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. Proverbs 31:26

Moments like these remind us that ministry happens in small, intentional conversations. Our women are gathered, learning, sharing, and equipping one another to serve better in their homes, church, and community.

Discipleship isn’t always on a pulpit. Sometimes it’s two sisters, a pen, and a heart ready to grow.

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” [Psalm 118:24]
_“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!”[ Isaiah 43:18-19]

Mondays carry weight. Last week’s failures, this week’s deadlines, the distance between where you are and where you wish you were. It’s easy to drag yesterday’s guilt into today’s grace.
