THIS IS THE PROPHETIC WORD FOR YOU ON

Thursday, August 27th

I SHALL NOT BE DECEIVED

Matthew 24:4 (KJV)
Take heed that no man deceive you.

You don’t have to look too long at the world around you today to see deception is at work, even from the places you least expect. Moral decadence is so rampant that you can sense we have reached the tipping point.

In the verse above, the Lord Jesus accurately foretold this worldwide deception on the earth in the last days and alerted His disciples that it would be a sign that His return was imminent. As we come closer and closer to the very last days of this age, we need to remember Christ’s forewarning of a season in time in which deception would grip the entire world. That time is now. The time of the Lord’s return is at hand, brothers and sisters. Be diligent, be alert, protect your heart, and do not be deceived!

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, I pray that You give me the inner courage to stand fast on the Word of God and never be deceived in Jesus’ Name!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

My eyes are anointed with strange oil that gives me the ability to see through all manner of deception! I shall not be fooled, glory be to God!

Ye are the salt of the earth….�

Salt is so common that you can find it anywhere. But in New Testament times, salt was an expensive and treasured commodity that was vitally needed in many spheres of life. When the Lord Jesus likened His listeners to salt, He knew exactly the kind of images that He wanted to flash through their minds, and He knew that the analogy would strike a chord.

Salt was used as an enhancer, preservative, antiseptic, healing agent, and more. All these characteristics speak of who you ought to be as a Christian. Are you influencing your world the right way? Are people around you feeling the effects of your saltiness? Where salt is, results follow. Be the proof!

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Dear God, thank You for making me salt on this Earth.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I am salt. I bring healing to the sick; I disinfect toxic spaces, and bring flavour to those around me. Glory be to God!

DEAD TO SIN

Romans 6:11 (KJV)
Likewise, reckon ye also yourself to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.�

I want you to take note of the word “reckon” in today’s theme verse. In the Greek rendering, it is the word logízomai, which means to conclude or to count a deed as already done, requiring only your affirmation and recognition.

This is very important because it tells you that in the mind of God, whoever you were in the past no longer has any claim to who you are now in Christ. Sin and its stimulating power have been slain by the power of the Cross. Affirm and recognise this in your life. You’re not who you used to be, no matter how many reminders the devil throws at you. In Christ, that old person is dead. Don’t give room to sin consciousness; you’re completely dead to it!

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thank You, Lord, for my salvation which ensured that my old life, my old personality, my old character are terminated, hallelujah!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

The old me is long dead. I live far above circumstances because no sin holds me back in Jesus’ Name!
