How much do you love your Bible? Is it one of your most precious belongings? Or do you need to force yourself to read it?Do you sometimes wonder, โHow do I read this Book to grow close to God in my heart? Where do I start?โ

Some of you may study the Bible every day. But other people leave their Bible on a shelf and hardly open it. For sure, we all can develop better Bible study skills.
This week, weโll look at how we can get more from our study time with God. We will learn ways to study the Bible better.
๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ฒ: ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐
โ Many people rush through Bible reading. Quick reading often leaves the heart empty. It is possible to read much but understand little. True study requires time and attention. God gave His Word so we can know Him. Knowing God leads us to love Him more.
โ โWe must not read the Bible in a hurry. We wonโt get much of a blessing if we read it fast. You can read the whole Bible from cover to cover. But you may not understand its beauty or deep meaning.โ โ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ง ๐. ๐๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐, ๐๐ก๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ ๐ถโ๐๐๐ ๐ก, p.90.
โ We should ask God to give us desire for Him. A willing heart makes Bible study meaningful. We must surrender our time to God. Time with Him is more important than busy schedules. Quiet time helps us hear God clearly.
โ We can know God if we read His Word, the Bible (Acts 17:11). Do the things below:

โ Spiritual growth requires discipline and consistency. Jesus calls us to abide in Him. This means staying connected to Him daily. Without Him, we cannot grow spiritually. With Him, we bear fruit and live meaningful lives.

โ Jesus woke up very early to pray. He went to a quiet place to be alone with God. He separated Himself from the crowd. He made time before the day began. Time with God was a clear priority. It gave Him strength for His daily work.
โ If Jesus needed this time, we need it more. God calls us to seek His face. He wants a personal response from us. We are told to seek Him continually. Not only sometimes, but always.
โ Having a specific place helps build a habit. It makes it easier to return each day. It only needs to be quiet and consistent. Sitting at Jesus' feet means choosing Him first.
โ We must guard against losing the habit. A strong relationship needs daily attention. Our time with God shows our priorities. What we choose daily reveals what matters most.

โ There are many ways to study the Bible. We can study verses, chapters, themes, or whole books. We can use tools like a concordance or Bible dictionary. We can also study with others or listen to the Bible. Using different methods keeps study fresh. It helps keep our time with God alive and interesting.
โ There is always more to learn in the Bible. We never reach the end of its truth. Sharing what we learn strengthens understanding. It helps fix truth more clearly in the mind.
โ Sharing also blesses others. It encourages and strengthens their faith. Bible study becomes a double blessing. It helps both the speaker and the listener. What we study is not only for us. It is also meant to help others. God teaches us so we can teach others. He gives us words to encourage people each day.
โ We should not give up if we slow down. We can always return and continue. Knowing God is the goal of study. This relationship is eternal life.

โ In Psalm 119:103, 104, the poet says that Godโs Word, the Bible, is the same as honey. Honey is a symbol for joy and pleasure. The poet says, โYour words are so sweet to me, like [the same as] the taste of honey!โ (Psalm 119:103).
โ Godโs words are very sweet to our spirits. Godโs words are different from anything this life offers us. Do you feel far away from God in your heart? You can read His words that are the same as living water. Nothing else can satisfy our thirst for God.
โ Godโs living and powerful Word touches our hearts and helps us to grow in Jesus. But we must spend time studying the Bible if we want growth to happen. We also must be willing to follow everything that God teaches us.

โIn Revelation 3:20, we read that Jesus wants to have a loving relationship with us. We always can learn more about our God. We should always search the Bible for more wisdom and knowledge. We always can learn more, even from the stories or verses we already read many times. As much as we think we know, there is always more we may learn from the Bible. So, let us continue to search the Bible for more and more truth. God wants each of us to study the special messages about the future.โ
