The Bible isnโ€™t just a collection of old stories. The Bible is a beautiful record about Godโ€™s love. The Bible tells us that God wants to be close to our hearts.
Do you want to grow in your relationship with God? Then the best thing to do is spend time every day praying, reading the Bible, and following its teachings.

โ€” Satan knows that the Bible is powerful. Godโ€™s powerful Word makes Satan powerless. Satan knows that prayer and Bible study are the most powerยญful weapons we can use against him.

โ€” When we neglect the Bible, we grow weak. Our relationship with God becomes distant. This affects how we live and treat others. We lose patience, peace, and spiritual focus. We may feel stressed and empty.

โ€” In reality, God remains faithful even when we are not. His mercies are new every day (Lamentations 3:22-23). Victory comes when we trust and use God's Word. We must choose daily to spend time with Him.

The Bible clearly teaches that truth is real and unchanging. Jesus Himself said, "I am the truth," showing that truth is found in Him. God's Word is truth, and it is completely pure and reliable.

โ€” Every word of Scripture has been tested and can be trusted fully. Truth does not change with time, culture, or human ideas. Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. Our understanding of truth can grow as we study the Bible more deeply.

โ€” God leads His people step by step into clearer understanding. The Bible must be the final authority in all matters of belief. Every teaching, idea, or opinion must be tested by Scripture.

โ€” Human reasoning is limited and can lead to error if it stands alone. It must always be guided and corrected by God's Word. Jesus taught truth with clarity, simplicity, and authority. His teaching removed confusion and revealed God's character clearly.

โ€” God wants us to be wise. He wants us to have spiritual understanding. So, we must open our minds and hearts when we come to Him. Then He can teach us what the Bible says.

โ€” Godโ€™s Word, the Bible, works in us when we believe. When you open your Bible, you must believe that God wants to say something to you with the words on the pages. Then God really will talk to you and work in your life.

โ€” The Bible tells us the truth about our lives and our relationship with God. The Bible tells us how to make our relationship with God grow strong. It shows us where we need to change.

โ€” God's Word must be received personally. It should shape our thoughts and character. We should not come to the Bible to prove our ideas. We should come ready to listen and be corrected.

๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: We all know people who think they are always right. Maybe you also know someone who always must be in control. This same person may not want to accept any advice. Or maybe you know someone who is always fighting with other people or saying mean and nasty things about them. We may think of a lot of people who are guilty of this bad behavior. But the real question is: โ€œWhat about me?โ€ When weโ€™re busy blaming other people for the pride in their hearts, we may not see the pride in our own hearts.
Weโ€™ve all fought against a heart filled with pride. Weโ€™ve all wanted to look, act, or talk better than the people around us. We believed that we were better than they are, at least in some way. Someone said that pride comes from the wish in our hearts to show other people that our lives have value. But we should know that our lives already have value because God made us, and Jesus died for us.
This week, we will look at the problem with pride. How does pride hurt our relationships with God and other people? What does the Bible teach us about having a heart with no pride?

โ€” When you feel pride in your heart, you feel more important or better than other people. For sure, pride is a feeling we shouldnโ€™t trust. It begins in the heart and often grows quietly.

โ€” Pride started with Lucifer in heaven. He chose to exalt himself instead of honoring God. This led to the great controversy. Pride entered the human family through sin. Adam and Eve chose to trust self instead of God.

โ€” 1 John 2:15โ€“17. What three important Bible truths do these verses teach us about pride and loving this life?

โ€” These desires pull the heart away from God. They make us focus on self and the world. Pride comes when we take credit instead of giving God glory. Everything we have comes from God. Our value is based on Him, not on our achievements. True Christian living is built on humility.

โ€” We must examine our own hearts and faults. We must treat others with love and fairness. Jesus is our perfect example of humility. He chose to humble Himself completely. This is the opposite of Lucifer's pride.

โ€” Jesus told a story about two men who went to pray. One man was proud and trusted his own goodness. The other man was humble and confessed his sin. The proud man focused on himself and his works. The humble man asked God for mercy. Jesus said the humble man was accepted by God.

โ€” God's kingdom works differently from the world. Those who exalt themselves will be humbled. Those who humble themselves will be lifted up. It is easy to talk about our achievements. But these do not give us value before God.

โ€” God looks at the condition of the heart. True change begins when we see our sin clearly. We must recognize our need for Christ. Then we can come to Him for forgiveness. God promises to forgive those who confess. He also cleanses us from sin.

โ€” We know ourselves better when we look at Jesus. The closer we come to Him, the more we see our need. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humility opens the door to receive God's grace.

โ€” Moses had a life of privilege in Egypt. He had education, power, and wealth but he chose to leave that life behind. He chose to suffer with God's people. He valued eternal things over temporary pleasure.

โ€” Hebrews 11 shows his decision clearly. He looked beyond this life to God's reward. Moses made a serious mistake early in life. He acted in anger and killed a man. This showed that pride and self-trust were still in him.

โ€” He then spent 40 years in the wilderness. God used this time to teach him humility. Moses had to unlearn pride and self-dependence. In the wilderness, Moses learned to depend on God. He became patient, quiet, and teachable.

โ€” The Bible describes Moses as very humble. He became one of the meekest men on earth. God used him to lead Israel out of Egypt. His humility made him fit for leadership.

โ€” True humility does not come from ourselves. It comes from walking with God. It grows when we depend fully on Him.

โ€” The disciples argued about who was the greatest. They were close to Jesus, yet pride still grew in their hearts. Pride can rise even in spiritual people. It often comes quietly and is hard to notice.

โ€” Jesus corrected their thinking about greatness. He said the greatest is the one who serves. True greatness is not about position, but service. God's kingdom is different from the world. The world seeks power and recognition.

โ€” God values humility and selfless service. Pride is very offensive to God. It is one of the most dangerous sins. It is hard to overcome because we often do not see it. Pride leads to self-sufficiency. It makes us depend on ourselves instead of God. This weakens our relationship with Him. True change comes only through the Holy Spirit.

โ€” We must ask God to reveal our real condition. We must allow Him to remove pride from our hearts. Humility begins when we surrender fully to God. It grows when we depend on Him daily.

โ€” Every day, Jesus helped people in need around Him. Jesus was filled with love and mercy for the people. They were the same as sheep without a shepherd. Jesus knew that people needed Him more than anything else in life.

โ€” To help people understand His love and mercy, Jesus left heaven to die for sinners. He hoped we would accept His invitation to be in a relationship with Him. Jesus did everything for us. He accepted our sins and our punishment.

โ€” When we look at Jesus, we see that our hearts are filled with sin. Our hearts are dirty and not clean at all. When we think about what Jesus did for us, we canโ€™t help seeing that we need Him so very much today.

โ€” Jesus is the best example of everything we should be. Jesus has no pride in His heart. When we open our hearts to Jesus, we will learn more about Him.

We were truly blessed to have a spirit-filled Sabbath worship with the visiting choir Bells of Glory from Kapisha Seventh-Day Adventist Church. ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŽถ

Under the inspiring theme โ€œSongs of Praise,โ€ the atmosphere was lifted through powerful music, heartfelt worship, and a deep sense of Godโ€™s presence. The choir ministered beautifully, reminding us that praise is not just a song, but a way of life.

๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: This week, we will look carefully at what the Bible says about God. โ€œPeople do not know who God is. People donโ€™t understand His love. Worse, because they donโ€™t understand God or His love, they think the worst about Him. God gave us a message to share with other people. This message will teach them the Bible truth about God. This message is powerful and can save people.
"So, we must help them to understand Godโ€™s love, mercy, beauty, and truth. . . . We must give Godโ€™s final message of mercy to the people on this earth. This message will show everyone that God is love.โ€ โ€” Ellen G. White, Christโ€™s Object Lessons, p. 415.
We canโ€™t fully explain Godโ€™s love. But we can tell people what the Bible says about Him. We canโ€™t know everything there is to know about God and His wonderful love. But as we learn more about Him, we can pray to understand and love Him more. When we pray for these things, we will want to grow close to Him in our hearts. When we are close to God in our hearts, we can show His love to other people.

โ€” The Bible tells us so much more about God. These Bible truths give us plenty of reasons to love God and want a relationship with Him. The more we know God, the more we will love Him. We also will want to be close to Him in our hearts.

โ€” Satan's main goal is to distort God's character. He wants people to doubt God's goodness and trustworthiness. False ideas about God lead people away from Him. The great controversy is centered on God's character.

โ€” The plan of salvation reveals God's love and justice. Christ's death proves that God is both loving and righteous. God's character is to be seen in the lives of His people. As we know Him, we begin to reflect His love and goodness.

โ€” If you study the Bible, you will understand that God is holy. He is completely separate from evil and sin. God is 100% good and holy, from beginning to end.

โ€” Godโ€™s love is holy. His love isnโ€™t selfish. As we saw yesterday, God knows everything. So, His plans for us are holy and good, and not evil. God is all-powerful. Godโ€™s power is holy, too. We can love and trust Him.

โ€” When people encountered God, they felt their unworthiness. They responded with humility, reverence, and awe. God's holiness reveals our need for cleansing and change. Holiness in us comes through faith in Christ.

โ€” It involves surrender, obedience, and a transformed life. True sanctification is not instant but a lifelong process. It requires daily dying to sin and living for Christ. It is shown through love, patience, and faithful service.

โ€” He is a personal God who provides, leads, and cares for His people. The greatest proof of God's love is the gift of Jesus. Christ came, lived, and died to save sinners. His sacrifice shows the depth of God's love for humanity.

โ€” The Bible presents God as both powerful and personal. In Genesis 1, God is Elohim-the all-powerful Creator of everything. He speaks, and creation comes into existence.

โ€” In Genesis 2, God is Yahweh a personal and close God. He forms man with His hands and gives him life. This shows God's nearness and care for humanity. God is both great and close at the same time. He rules over all creation but is near to each one of us.

โ€” In Him we live, move, and have our being. Nature and creation reveal God's character. His power, wisdom, and care are seen in everything around us. Creation shows that God provides, sustains, and cares for life. God is not distant or uncaring. He understands our struggles and desires a relationship with us.

โ€” Through Jesus, we see clearly that God is close to humanity. A balanced view of God is important. We must see both His greatness and His closeness. The more we know Him, the more we will love and trust Him.

โ€” The clearest picture of God is seen in Jesus. Jesus shows us exactly what God is like. If we want to know God, we must look at Jesus.

โ€” Jesus revealed God through His life, words, and actions. His love, kindness, and sacrifice show the Father's character. His death and resurrection reveal God's deep love for us.

โ€” The four Gospels help us understand Jesus better:

โ€” The name Immanuel means "God with us." This shows that God is not distant He is near. God came to live among us through Jesus. Jesus also promised, "I am with you always." This means God is still with us today. He is present in our daily lives.

โ€” God's character is love that gives and serves. Through Jesus, we see that God lives to bless others. We will continue learning about God forever. His character is too great to fully understand now.

There will always be more to learn and know about it. You may study Godโ€™s love for ages to come. But you will never understand fully why God loved us so much that He gave His Son to die for sinners. But we must try to understand His love as best we can. We must think about Jesusโ€™ life and Godโ€™s plan to save us. The more we study the Bible, the more we will understand these important Bible truths.โ€

โœจ AMBASSADOR DAY 2026 / LORDโ€™S SUPPER โœจ

Today, we joyfully joined believers around the world in celebrating Ambassador Day under the Youth Ministry Department, guided by the powerful theme: โ€œSaved to Serve.โ€

We were truly blessed to have MG Paul Mulubwa as our guest speaker, who reminded us in a special way that God can use anyone, regardless of their background or status, to accomplish His work. His message encouraged us to be willing vessels, ready to serve wherever God calls us.

On this same beautiful Sabbath, we also partook in the Holy Communion, a sacred moment of reflection, renewal, and recommitment to Christ. It was a time to remember His sacrifice, embrace humility, and strengthen our relationship with Him and one another.

๐Ÿ™ The day was filled with inspiration, unity, and spiritual growth.
๐Ÿ’ซ Our ambassadors were reminded of their purpose to lead, to serve, and to shine as examples in their communities.
