Evening Devotion: Trusting God With Tomorrow

Bible Verse:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5–6

Message:
Life often brings questions about the future. We may not always understand why certain things happen or what tomorrow holds. However, God invites us to trust Him completely. When we place our plans, worries, and hopes in His hands, He promises to guide us.

Trusting God does not mean we will always have immediate answers, but it means believing that He is leading us even when the path is unclear. Tonight, remember that the God who cared for you today is the same God who will take care of your tomorrow.

Reflection Questions:

1. What worries can I surrender to God tonight?

2. Have I been relying more on my own understanding than on God's guidance?

3. How can I show greater trust in God this week?

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and care. As I rest tonight, help me to trust You with every concern and every plan. Guide my steps and strengthen my faith. May Your peace fill my heart and mind. In Jesus' name, Amen.

32 SOULS TO BE BAPTIZED FOLLOWING THE JESUS SAVES CRUSADE 💥📢
Today marked the successful conclusion of the Jesus Saves Crusade, during which 32 souls GAVE their lives to Christ and are ready welcomed into the fellowship of the church under Chibombo Main SDA Church.

The church elders and district leaders expressed heartfelt gratitude to all members of both Chibombo Main SDA Church and Jordan Company and all Adventist Men(AMO) for their unwavering support, dedication, and participation throughout the crusade.

The elders also conveyed their sincere appreciation to Pastor Patrick Kumwenda for delivering powerful and inspiring sermons during the evangelistic meetings, which greatly contributed to the success of the crusade.

The Communication Department commends the efforts of the church leadership, members, and all those who played a role in making the program a success. We pray that the spirit of unity, commitment, and evangelism will continue to grow within the church.

Yes that is the biblical meaning of hope in Romans 8:24–25. Biblical hope is not mere wishful thinking; it is a confident expectation based on God’s promises.

Paul teaches that if we already possessed or fully saw what was promised, it would no longer require hope. Instead, believers wait in faith for what God has assured will come.
As Romans says:

This hope is joined with endurance. The Christian life is often compared to a race that must be run faithfully until the end. The fulfillment of God’s promises may not yet be visible, but faith continues steadfastly.
Hebrews expresses this same truth:
“Let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1
And Paul later says:
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness.” 2 Timothy 4:7–8
So biblical hope involves:
Confidence in God’s future promises
Faith while the promise remains unseen
Patience and endurance through trials
Assurance that the prize will ultimately be received
Hope sustains believers until faith becomes sight.
