COMMISSIONED TO GIVE THE WORLD THE LIGHT
(Preparing the World for Christ’s Return)

TO THE BIBLE - Matthew 24:14
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come”

LET’S TALK
“Bro, do you really think God can use someone like me?” David asked, staring at his phone.

“Why not?” Samuel replied. “You’re always talking about Jesus in school. You pray. You care about people.”

David sighed. “Yeah… but I’m just a teenager.”

Samuel smiled. “That’s exactly who God is looking for.”

The Bible tells us in Luke chapter one of how the man of God, Zechariah, in excitement at the birth of John, his newborn son, prophetically addressed the little boy:

“And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, To give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God, With which the dayspring from on high has visited us; to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace” (Luke 1:76–79).

I remember praying with these words many years ago as the power of God was stirred within me. I realized it was my commission to preach the Gospel to the whole world. We have been sent ahead of the second coming of Christ to give the knowledge of salvation to ALL people.

We’re that seed, in whose hands the pleasure of the Lord is prospering as we preach His message to the ends of the earth! That means you and I are part of God’s plan right now, even as students and young people.

You’re the light of the world, but you’ll never know how brightly your light can shine until you reach out to those living in darkness. You’ll never know how powerful the gifts of God in your life are until you come to those in the shadow of death. This can start with your friends, classmates, teammates, and people you meet every day. Praise God!

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Psalms 22:27-28 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. [28] For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.

SPEAK
I’ve been called to go forth and give the knowledge of salvation unto all people by the remission of their sins through the tender mercy of our God. I am the light of the world, and I give light to those in my world today and guide their feet into the way of peace. Amen.

YOU’RE GOD’S GLORY

1 John 4:17
…As He is, so are we in this world.

The Bible tells us that Jesus shows us exactly what God is like. He is the exact picture of who God is (Hebrews 1:3). And here’s something amazing, God created us to look like Him too! Because as Jesus is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

Jesus said, “...The glory You gave Me, I have given them...” (John 17:22). That means God’s glory is in you too; therefore, you’re not ordinary. God chose you to shine His light and show His goodness everywhere you go (1 Peter 2:9).

Therefore, every time you study God’s Word, it’s like looking into a mirror. It shows you who you really are; someone filled with God’s glory. Hallelujah!

SCRIPTURE READING
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

LET'S PRAY
Dear loving Father, thank you for your glory in my life and for making me a shining light in my school, family, and community to bless lives, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 10 2026

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIS GRACE

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 2:1).

Our opening scripture says, “…be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” That means take advantage of His grace, understand what that grace has brought to you and accomplished for you, and appropriate it. For example, God says He’s given you divine health in the Gospel (3 John 1:2); don’t try to get it, choose to walk in divine health. Make up your mind about it and refuse to allow anything to cause you to compromise.

The Word also says He’s brought you into a large place, a wealthy place (Psalm 18:19). Then in 2 Corinthians 8:9, it says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” This is the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ already at work for your prosperity.

Therefore, stop hoping or praying to prosper; live in prosperity. Enjoy your prosperous life in Him. That’s how to be strong in His grace: knowing what the Word says and living accordingly. It’s not enough to say, “I believe I’m healed” and remain on the bed; act on the Word. It makes no difference what symptoms you may feel; declare, “I have the life of God in me. I walk in divine health.”

When you speak like that, you’re not trying to convince God; you’re acknowledging what He’s already done. It brings to mind the testimony of a man who had been on crutches for a long time. He always spoke about what the devil had done to him. But one day, his pastor corrected him: “Don’t tell us what the devil has done; tell us what the Lord has done.”

He was then shown the Scriptures, “…by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24). The moment he saw it, he declared, “I’m healed! If God said He’s done it, then I’m healed.” On his way home, still using his crutches, he kept testifying. But as he stepped off a bus, he stumbled and fell, and his crutches went in the opposite direction.

As he tried to get up, he realized he could stand and walk without them. The Word had become real to him. He acted on it, and it produced results. That’s taking advantage of God’s grace. You’re not waiting for God to act. Rather, you’re living in the consciousness and manifestation of what He’s already done, walking in the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel. Hallelujah!

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the grace that is in Christ Jesus. I take advantage of that grace and walk in the reality of all that you’ve made available to me. I live in your Word and manifest its truth in my life today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I pray for little children and young people around the nations of the world. I declare in the Name of the Lord Jesus that they are shielded from all evil and protected from every wicked device of the enemy. They are protected from wicked and unreasonable men. They are preserved on every side. They are undistracted by negative peer pressure but are growing daily in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, fulfilling their divine purpose in Christ Jesus.

I also pray for their parents, teachers, and guardians—that they are guided by the wisdom of God to train and lead these children in the way they should go. By divine insight, they instil excellence, purpose, and righteousness in them, to the glory and praise of God. Hallelujah!

I declare that these children are producing results in every area of their lives. No sickness can thrive in their bodies. No disease can remain. And if there is any child currently unwell, I speak divine restoration to that child right now. I command the spirit of infirmity, fear, intimidation, and every oppressive force to lose its hold—be gone, in the Name of the Lord Jesus!

The shield of God surrounds every child. The Name of the Lord is a strong tower over them. I decree the wisdom of God is at work in them—right now—in the Name of Jesus! SUNDAY JUNE 07 2026

PRAYER—A CATALYST FOR DIVINE INTERVENTION
..Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words (Daniel 10:12).

Prayer is a catalyst or spur for divine intervention. When you pray in alignment with God’s Word, you set spiritual forces in motion and connect earthly situations with heavenly responses. Through prayer, God’s purposes are activated and His will is established or caused to manifest in the earth.

A remarkable example of this truth is recorded in Daniel chapter 10. Daniel had been praying and fasting concerning the destiny of Israel. For twenty-one days he continued in prayer, unaware that from the very first day his words had already been heard in heaven. In response to his prayer, an angel was dispatched with the answer.

However, when the angel eventually appeared to Daniel, he explained that although the answer had been released from heaven, the very first day Daniel prayed, he had encountered resistance for twenty-one days from the powers of darkness led by the “prince of Persia.” This reveals an important spiritual reality: even when heaven has responded, there can be opposition in the spirit realm.

But Daniel’s persistence in prayer ensured that the divine purpose prevailed. The angel further explained that Michael, described as the prince assigned to Israel, came to assist in overcoming that resistance. This shows that angelic beings operate with divine assignments connected to nations and peoples, and their ministry often unfolds in response to God’s purposes and the prayers of His people.

At the same time, the Scriptures reveal that angels don’t override human responsibility. Israel had previously fallen into captivity because they had broken God’s covenant. Even though Michael was assigned to them, he couldn’t prevent the consequences of their disobedience.

But when the time of God’s promise arrived and Daniel aligned himself with the Word through prayer, divine intervention was activated. His prayers became the channel through which God’s purpose for Israel began to unfold. This shows the power of prayer that is rooted in the Word.

Therefore, prayer isn’t a routine but a participation in divine purpose: your opportunity to enforce God’s will in the earth. When you have this knowledge and understanding about prayer, you don’t wait for change; you bring it into manifestation. This makes you an active agent through whom divine purposes are established and fulfilled.

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of prayer and the assurance of answers. As I pray in alignment with your Word, your purposes are fulfilled in my life and through me, and your will prevails in the earth, in the nations, and in my situations, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

WAKE UP TO WHO YOU ARE
(Become Conscious Of Your Righteousness)

LET’S TALK
“I still feel bad about my past mistakes,” Blessing said quietly.

Samuel replied, “But God has forgiven you. You’re new in Christ now.”

Blessing smiled. “So I shouldn’t see myself as a failure anymore?”

Until you become conscious of your righteousness, it will not work for you. To be righteousness-conscious means to be aware that you have been justified, cleansed, and accepted before God, no matter what mistakes you made before. It means you no longer see yourself through the eyes of your past but through the righteousness of Christ.

Guilt and fear lose their power when you’re righteousness-conscious. This is what Paul meant when he said, “Awake to righteousness.” Wake up to who you are! You’re not a sinner saved by grace; you’re a new creature in Christ Jesus. Old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17), including your mindset and confidence.

This awareness transforms your fellowship with God and gives you the mentality of dominion in life, even in school and among your friends. Don’t say, “I’m just an ordinary person trying to please God!” No, you’re not ordinary; you’re the righteousness of God. Think, talk, and live righteousness, and you’ll produce fruits of righteousness.

GO DEEPER
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

PRAY
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for imparting your righteousness to my spirit. I’m conscious of who I am in Christ: sanctified, glorified and justified. I walk boldly before you, without fear or shame, and I reign in life through the grace of Jesus Christ. I live triumphantly by the power of the Spirit, producing fruits and works of righteousness in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TAKE THE GOSPEL TO YOUR WORLD

Mark 16:15
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

As God’s child, your life should not only be about personal plans, games, or toys. Living for Jesus and helping others know Him should be the most important thing in your life. This is your special assignment.

The Bible tells us about Paul, who felt it was his duty to preach the Gospel everywhere he went. He lived to make Jesus known everywhere he went (1 Corinthians 9:16). Just like Paul, you’re God’s representative in your world. He trusts you to share His message of love, forgiveness, and grace with others around you.

So, be kind, be bold, and use every means to tell others about Jesus, so they can have hope and live for God too.

LET'S PRAY
Thank you, heavenly Father, for making me your representative in my school, neighborhood, and community. Through me, others will know your love, kindness, and grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

SUCCESS, VICTORY AND INCREASE

And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity] (Psalm 1:3 AMPC).

God never produces failures. When a person is united with Christ, he or she steps into a life designed only for success, victory and increase. The nature of God in you produces excellence, progress and greatness. It’s the reality of the new creation life.

I came into this understanding very early. I was born again before I was nine years old and began to preach the Gospel not long after. I started winning my friends to Christ, and shortly after I was ten, I began a fellowship. By fifteen, I was already holding crusades. I have walked this path long enough to know beyond any argument that the Word works.

When God sets you on course and your mind is stayed on Him, the Word declares that He will keep you in perfect peace because you trust in Him. That peace is the peace of prosperity, a life that continually moves forward. The Scripture also says concerning the one who’s in Christ: Whatsoever he does shall prosper.

That’s the destiny of the one who lives by the Word; we saw that in our opening scripture. The one who doesn’t follow the advice of the ungodly is blessed. Some people allow ungodly friends, relatives, or neighbours to shape their decisions; no!

The blessed man delights in the Word of God and meditates on it day and night. He gives attention to the Word, and the Word shapes his life. The result is extraordinary: He becomes like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bearing fruit in season, and his leaf doesn’t wither; that means no failure with you. What a life!

When you give yourself to the Word, it programmes you for a one-way journey in life—upward and forward only. The Word is seed, and meditating on it keeps it deeply rooted in your spirit to govern your mentality such that you think success, victory, and glory only. Your life becomes the demonstration of the Word, causing you to have good success (Joshua 1:8). Hallelujah.

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, I thank you for the life of unending success that you’ve given me in Christ. Your Word works mightily in me, producing excellence, prosperity and victory; I heap success upon success. I think the Word, speak the Word and walk in the light of the Word every day, in Jesus Name. Amen.

THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH
(You Have Dominion Over Adversity)

LET’S TALK
Have you ever marveled at how a river cuts through the hardest rock—not by sheer force alone, but by persistent flow? So it is with the Christian who understands the source of their strength. When you recognize that your power doesn’t come from yourself but from the Almighty God who lives within you, every obstacle becomes a stepping stone, every storm an opportunity to display the power of God.

The Bible declares clearly, “God is my strength and power, and He makes my way perfect” (2 Samuel 22:33 NKJV). This means your strength is limitless because it is God’s very own strength coursing through you. 1 John 4:4 NKJV assures us, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” You hail from God; therefore, your strength is supernatural. You are qualified, sufficient, and able—not by your own ability, but by the sufficiency of God (2 Corinthians 3:5). This truth must settle in your heart.

When you walk in the consciousness of your righteousness in Christ, it produces divine audacity. You no longer cower in the face of sickness, demons, or death. Instead, you chew up challenges as bread, walking over adversities with boldness. You understand that you stand in Christ’s stead and function in His authority. This confidence is your weapon—your declaration that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Speak with authority. Live with the boldness of divine strength. You are unstoppable because God is your strength! Hallelujah!

GO DEEPER
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. [37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. [38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:17 AMPC For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

PRAY
Dear Father, thank you for making me righteous and granting me boldness through the Holy Spirit. You’re my strength, and I reign in life by the power of righteousness. I live fearlessly, walking in divine authority and confidence. My words are filled with power, and my actions are full of grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*THINK BEYOND YOURSELF*

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. *(Philippians 2:3-4 NLT)*

As God’s child, God wants you to be someone who thinks about others, not just yourself. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 that we should pray for everyone, our friends, family and even our leaders.

Nehemiah did this when he helped rebuild Jerusalem’s walls. He didn’t think only about his own safety; he told the people, *“Fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”* He wanted everyone to be protected (Nehemiah 4:14).

Don’t only pray for your own needs. Pray for the sick, the poor, and people who need help. Jesus cares about everyone (Hebrews 4:15). That is what champions do: they think beyond themselves.

*📖SCRIPTURE READING*

*Ezekiel 33:7* So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

*LET'S PRAY*
Dear loving Father, thank you for loving everyone and helping me to be kind, caring, and one who thinks beyond himself, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
