I hear the scraping of the bottom of the pot, I see there is no more food left. The sides, bottom, and the lid have been scraped clean, and the bread is nearly gone. I look around the room and see that none of the teenagers or adults had received any food...

One week down for our team of 10 legends! We're loving the people here and all of the ministry opportunities that have been opened up for us! God is using us to impact so many precious humans! We have only just begun

We have officially come to the end of week 3! Our topic this week was the nature and character of God with Peter Warren. It was SO GOOD!

I realised last night that I have numerous unanswered emails and messages. My apologies to all who I have not responded to! My goal for this weekend is to respond to as many emails and messages as I can!

I love you all heaps! Time is a precious thing, and I've come to discover I have very little of it. I promise I'm not trying to ignore you, though it may feel that way sometimes. On the bright side, my Australian SIM card should arrive shortly, which means communication will be more at my fingertips, as opposed to one time a month on Facebook!

P.S. I took this photo at the footy field across the street from Charlestown (a huge mall). Each week, we head to Charlestown to evangelise (ie: tell people about Jesus). This week, we decided to worship and pray for the mall and people to lay the groundwork for what God wants us to do here! Stories will be coming soon!

A fabulous week has come and gone, and Jesus is still amazing.

Hearing God's voice was new for many people, but each and every one of these students are hungry and eager to grow. They're such a rad group of humans.

The last two days (our weekend) were filled with laughter, fun, sports, competition, and fellowship. It's quite a lovely mix. (P.S. WE PLAYED BASKETBALL. We played soccer as well, but my heart was missing basketball.)

The lecture topic this week is the Fatherheart of God. It's going to be intense, but life changing. I'm stoked for God to reveal to my new friends His fierce and fatherly love for them. I'm so ready!!

What a crazy few weeks it has been. The January Discipleship Training School (DTS) staff team has been going hard prepping for a rad group of 44 humans. Two days ago, those legends arrived at YWAM Newcastle. It has been a busy, but flippin awesome, time of helping everyone get to know each other and settle in!
We're hitting the ground running this week as our first lecture topic is Hearing God's Voice.
IT'S AMAZING AND THIS SCHOOL IS AMAZING!
Please be praying for us. We're tired, but man, God has been so good to us. I'll be sitting down to write an update this weekend.

I'm so blessed that I was able to go home for Christmas. I treasured every single moment I spent with my wonderful family and friends. Sorry to the ones I didn't see! I'll see you soon :)
