Here is how to fight poverty:
1. Give top priority to God Matt. 6:33.
2. Gain financial literacy Prov. 15:22.
3. Be content with what you have now while you pray and work for more 1 Tim. 6:6.
3. Save, save, save. If you spend everything you have then the seeds of greatness are not in you Prov. 6:8.

The very same language is used concerning the Sabbath as in the law of the tithe: “holy Sabbath to the Lord” (Exodus 16:33). Man has no right nor power to substitute the first day for the seventh…In like manner a tithe of our income is “holy unto the Lord.” (Lev 27:30)…The New Testament does not reenact the law of the tithe, as it does not that of the Sabbath; for the validity of both is assumed, and their deep spiritual import explained...CS 66.2

Every believer should be wholehearted in his attachment to the church. Its prosperity should be his first interest, and unless he feels under sacred obligations to make his connection with the church a benefit to it in preference to himself, it can do far better without him.. Do something for someone else today. Help someone. Make it a daily habit. Ask yourself at the end of each day, “What did I do on behalf of others?”

The Lord never stops giving and we also should never wish for a day when we will never have to give. If God would stop giving, life on earth would cease. Giving is the law of life.

We often thank the Lord for what He has done for us but we usually forget to thank Him for what He has prevented from happening to us. God fights a lot of battles for us behind our backs .

Make sure you don’t fill the Sabbath with don’ts. Let us fill it with do’s

Don’t waste your extra. Remember God never does anything without a reason. Tomorrow’s provision might be embedded in today’s blessing. I repeat, don’t waste your extra and remember to gather the fragments.

When God causes/allows you to go through some pain, it is a clear sign that He intends to bless you. The Bible is clear, “For if He causes grief, Then He will have compassion According to His abundant lovingkindness. For He does not afflict the sons of men willingly/or for fun.” God assigns purpose to your pain.
‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3:32-33‬
Happy new Week.
