Making a Crane camera stand/phone holder from scratch.
I didn't buy this.
I built it.
This is a DIY crane camera stand / tripod, made from metal and welded by hand. I created it so I can film my artworks, document my teaching, and capture creative processes from better angles. It can hold cameras, lights, and accessories, all designed for flexibility and growth.
Not everything must be Made in China. Some things must be Made by us, with our hands, our skills, and our imagination.
This is about African innovation, problem-solving, and creating tools that serve our stories.
If we can build the tools, we can control the narrative.
Art is not only the final product.
Art is also the process.
