7 signs you’re blocking the Holy Spirit in your life...

Sign #1: You’re too busy and loud.
Your schedule is packed, your mind is overloaded, and there is no room for stillness. That constant noise can drown out the quiet in which the Holy Spirit often speaks. (1 Kings 19:12)

The solution: cut the noise daily for 15 minutes.

Sign #2: You’re always complaining.
Constant negativity does not just affect your mood. It affects your spiritual sensitivity. (1 Corinthians 10:10)

The solution: start speaking gratitude out loud in your home.

Sign #3: You’re surrounded by mockers.
Jesus removed the people mocking Him before He raised Jairus’ daughter. Some environments kill faith before miracles even have a chance to grow. (Mark 5:40)

The solution: protect what God is doing in you.

Sign #4: You normalize sin.
When sin becomes casual, spiritual sensitivity becomes rare. Samson lost the flow of God and didn’t even realize it. (Judges 16:20)

The solution: repent quickly.

Sign #5: You’re full of offense and unforgiveness.
Some homes have prayer, but no peace. Some families have worship music, but they’re loaded with bitterness. That environment blocks flow. (Matthew 5:23-24)

The solution: forgive even if others won’t apologize.

Sign #6: Your environment is starving your faith.
You can be righteous and still be drained by a toxic atmosphere. Fear, filth, and constant negativity will drain your sensitivity to God. (2 Peter 2:7-8)

The solution: replace entertainment with edification.

Sign #7: There is no hunger for God anymore.
God fills hungry people. But if you are already satisfied, distracted, or numb, you stop making room for Him. (Luke 5:16)

The solution: pray simple prayers like, “Holy Spirit, I want You.”

The Holy Spirit is not weak. But there are atmospheres where He is welcomed and atmospheres where He is resisted.

If you want the flow back, do these things:
- Change the atmosphere
- Cut the noise
- Remove compromise
- Protect your peace
- Feed your spirit
- Make room for God again

When Trust Looks Like Letting Go

There is a mother in the Old Testament whose faith is easy to overlook.

Her name was Jochebed.

She gave birth to Moses during a time when Pharaoh had commanded every Hebrew baby boy to be thrown into the river.

Imagine the fear in that house.

Every cry could expose him.
Every sound could put his life in danger.
Every day she kept him hidden was a day of trembling faith.

For three months, she protected him.

But then Scripture says,

“When she could no longer hide him…”

That line carries so much pain.

There comes a moment when love reaches the edge of what human hands can do.

She could not keep him hidden forever.

So she made an ark of bulrushes, placed her baby inside, and laid him by the river.

That does not look like faith at first.

It looks like surrender.

But sometimes surrender is faith at its deepest.

Jochebed did not throw Moses away.

She entrusted him.

The same river Pharaoh wanted to use for death became the place where God preserved life.

That is the revelation.

What the enemy meant to destroy, God used to deliver.

The river did not become Moses’ grave.

It became the path to his purpose.

And here is what makes the story even more beautiful.

The baby Jochebed released came back to her arms.

Pharaoh’s daughter found him, had compassion, and Moses’ own mother was called to nurse him.

Only God could write that.

Jochebed let go in faith, and God returned what she surrendered with protection, provision, and purpose attached to it.

This becomes deeply personal.

There are moments when we hold something tightly because we are afraid.

A child.
A dream.
A calling.
A future.
A situation we cannot control.

We want to protect it.

But sometimes God brings us to the place where we must place it in His hands.

Not because we stopped caring.

But because we finally trust that His hands are stronger than ours.

And here is the encouragement.

What you surrender to God is not lost.

It is covered.

It may leave your hands, but it does not leave His care.

Jochebed could not see the full story when she placed Moses in the river.

She did not know he would become the deliverer of Israel.

She only knew she had reached the end of her ability.

And sometimes that is where faith begins.

When you can no longer hide it, fix it, carry it, or control it,

place it in God’s hands.

Because the God who watched over Moses in the river

is still faithful to watch over what you surrender to Him.

There is a Hebrew word in the Old Testament that carries a depth many readers never notice.

The word is Raham.

It is often translated in English as compassion, mercy, or pity. But the meaning behind the word goes deeper than those translations suggest.

The root of raham is connected to the Hebrew word rechem, which means womb.

That detail changes how we understand the word.

In Hebrew thought, raham describes a kind of love that comes from the deepest part of a person. It is the tender, protective compassion a mother feels for the child she carried.

It is not distant kindness.

It is a love that feels the pain of another as if it were its own.

When Scripture uses this word to describe God, it reveals something remarkable about His heart.

Psalm 103:13 says,

“As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him.”

The word translated “pities” here comes from raham.

God’s compassion is not cold or mechanical.

It is deeply personal.

Another place where this word appears is in Lamentations 3:22–23:

“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning.”

The word “compassions” again comes from the same root.

Even in the middle of grief and national destruction, the prophet Jeremiah speaks about the raham of God.

This tells us something important.

God’s compassion is not limited to moments when life is easy.

It remains even in seasons of brokenness.

For believers, this becomes deeply encouraging.

Many people carry quiet guilt, regret, or failure. They feel as if they have disappointed God too many times. They imagine God looking at them with frustration or distance.

But the language Scripture uses tells a different story.

The compassion of God is not shallow.

It is raham.

A compassion that understands weakness.
A compassion that protects.
A compassion that refuses to abandon.

This is why the Bible repeatedly invites people to return to Him.

Because the heart of God is not eager to reject.

It is eager to restore.

And that means no matter how far someone feels they have wandered, the compassion of God is still reaching toward them.

His mercy is not exhausted.

It is renewed.

Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:19 NKJV

A New Thing

The Lord was reminding Israel of His great love for them. He called them to remember the mighty works He had already done—how He delivered, protected, and sustained them. Yet in the same breath, He said, forget the former things and look ahead. God was preparing them for something new.

The door to 2025 is now closed. Behind it lies a year filled with both trials and triumphs. Some have closed the door on the greatest victories they have ever experienced, while others are leaving behind seasons of pain, loss, and brokenness. But for all of us, one truth remains: that door is closed.

This morning, I sense the Lord redirecting our focus to what lies ahead. Do not linger. Do not delay. Lift your eyes and tune your ears to the future God has prepared for you. He is doing a new thing—and it is already beginning to spring forth.

He promises to make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Places that once felt barren, confusing, or impossible will become pathways of provision and life. For me, this means I can step into 2026 with courage and faith. The same God who kept me through 2025 will do a new thing in 2026.

God’s purpose did not end last year. His goodness did not expire on December 31st. He is faithful, and He is moving—doing a new thing not only in our lives, but in His Church.

And when God is at work, His people always emerge victorious.
God is faithful.

7 Signs You’re Lukewarm
Revelation 3:16 says “Because you are lukewarm… I will spit you out.”

The most dangerous spiritual condition isn’t just rebellion, it’s indifference.
Jesus doesn’t want half-commitment. He wants your heart.
Let’s test ourselves (2 Corinthians 13:5).

Sign 1 - No Hunger for God
– Bible feels boring.
– Prayer is a chore.
– Worship is lifeless.
Hunger is a sign of life. If you’re not craving God, something is wrong.

Sign 2 - You Compromise with Sin
– You excuse it.
– You flirt with it.
– You feel no conviction anymore.
Sin is like ice water on your fire.

Sign 3 - You Blend In with the World
– Same values.
– Same language.
– Same lifestyle.
Friendship with the world = enmity with God (James 4:4).

Sign 4 - You Live Without Prayer
– Prayer only in emergencies.
– No daily connection.
Prayer is to your spirit what breathing is to your body.

Sign 5 - No Fruit in Your Life
– No urgency to share the Gospel.
– Satisfied with attending church only.
Jesus cursed the fruitless fig tree. Don’t be a Christian with only “leaves.”

Sign 6 - You Lost Your First Love
– Passion replaced with routine.
– Fire replaced with formality.
Jesus said: “You have left your first love” (Rev. 2:4).

Sign 7 = Half-Commitment
– Jesus as Savior, but not Lord.
– You follow Him… until it costs too much.
Half-commitment is no commitment.

Jesus warns lukewarm believers:
– They are blind to their true condition.
– If there is no repentance, He will reject them.

How to Return to Burning Faith:
Repent right now.
Seek God, not feelings.
Separate from sin.
Serve others.
Surround yourself with people on fire.

Don’t stay lukewarm.
This is your wake-up call.
Repent today and return to Jesus with fire.

I HEARD THE LORD SAY ‘THE HEAVINESS AND ATTACK MANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN FACING HAS BEEN COMING AFTER YOUR VOICE. LIFT YOUR VOICE AND COME NOT DOWN OFF THE WALL.’

At the start of this week I felt Nehemiah 6 come strongly upon my heart, and the encouragement and call of the Lord to not come down off the wall and what the Lord has called you to build and rebuild in this season.

As I leaned into the Lord and listened I heard Him speaking to many:

‘The heaviness and attack many of you have been facing has been coming after your voice. Lift your voice and come not down off the wall.’

There was such a strong sense that surrounded me, that the heaviness and attack which many have been facing was pushing so hard against them that there was such a strong temptation to come down off the wall of what the Lord had called them to build. There was a spiritual demonic lethargy that had come upon many, and the sense was so strong that I could feel so many feeling like they were just too tired to keep building or that it was too hard to keep going.

As I continued to seek the Lord’s heart, I heard:

‘Lift your voice. Lift up your voice. Praise is your weapon and praise is the KEY TO YOUR VICTORY. Praise is the KEY TO YOUR VICTORY. There is a mighty shift and a mighty increase that is upon you in this hour, and I am bringing forth a birthing in the building that I have called you to put your hands to in this season. The weariness and lethargy that you have been feeling and that has been coming upon you is not natural and it is sent by the enemy to cause you to lay down your weapon of praise.

‘It is coming against you to cause you to lay down your weapons, to not stand in faith, to lay aside your assignment and to lay down the supernatural strategies and tools I have given you in your hands in this season to build with Me – to walk away. I say unto you, STAY ON THE WALL. STAY ON THE WALL. I say unto you, that as you open your mouths and praise Me, as you lift your voice and shout, you are about to see VICTORIES that you have not yet seen.

‘The enemy has been coming against many of you with this heaviness and attack: because as you praise Me you are going to see the WALLS that have been hindering you – the walls that have been in your pathways that have been built by the enemy to attempt to keep you out of where I am calling you and the areas I am calling you to build in – SUDDENLY COME DOWN.

‘I say unto you, as you praise Me and as you open your mouth with a shout of praise, you are going to dance upon the head of the enemy. I say unto you, you are about to tread on the plans of the enemy in a way that you have not seen before, and you are going to see a new sound of MY AUTHORITY released through your praise that will see CHAINS BREAK.

‘I say unto you, that as you lift your voice and praise Me, you will see My mighty hand bring forth a greater ESTABLISHING and FORTIFYING taking place in clarity, strength and vision – to what I am calling you to and have called you to build and rebuild with Me in this season. I say unto you, that as you lift up your voices and praise Me, the vision will NOT be stolen but it will be ENLARGED.

‘I say unto you, that you will see My hammer of justice come down upon the head of the enemy as you lift up a shout of praise, and you will see a mighty demonstration of My justice come forth that will manifest some of the most powerful demonstrations of DIVINE ORDER that you have ever seen. I say unto you, the enemy has been pushing hard against you with heaviness and attack to bring you out of alignment with My divine order and My assignments that I have given you in this season by attempting to lure you off the wall. But as you raise your voice in praise to Me and declare MY name and who I am over the plans and attacks of the enemy, you will see a MIGHTY demonstration of My power bringing forth divine alignment in and through your lives in ways you have not seen before.

‘I say unto you, that as you raise your voice in praise to Me, as you exalt Me, I say unto you, that you will hear the ROAR OF MY HEART louder than you have ever heard it. You will hear the ROAR OF HEAVEN released in an increased way. I say unto you, as you raise your voice in PRAISE, you are posturing yourselves and positioning yourselves to HEAR AND RECEIVE MY ROAR in a greater way in the areas that I am calling you to build in, and there will be new areas where I will release My ROAR to you.

‘The groans of intercession will come upon you in greater ways to BIRTH that which I am wanting to bring forth in the earth. My plans, My purposes. The enemy has roared loudly against you with heaviness and attack to silence you, but as you praise Me there is a greater depth of co-labouring with Me in seeing MY ROAR released through in the place of prayer, intercession and obedience to My strategies and assignments.

‘Stay on the wall, My people. Do not move from what I have called you to. Look not at the enemy. Look not at what is attempting to taunt and distract you to come down and come off the wall of what I’ve called you to build and rebuild with Me. Look to Me. Lift up your eyes and PRAISE ME!!! Lift your voice and take authority through your praise over the airwaves. Lift your voice in praise and WATCH the enemy flee. Lift up your voice and praise and WATCH My power come, and watch what I am going to do.

‘Watch some of the greatest deliverances, shifts and birthings take place in supernatural acceleration in MOMENTS of praise. The enemy is attempting to silence you because of what I am doing through your praise to Me and as My voice of authority is released through your mouth. Where fear and intimidation has come against many of you to keep you confined and hidden, you are being set free as you PRAISE and WATCH the power of high praise bring fear upon the enemy’s camp and cause him to scatter and MY VICTORY come forth.’

In the Bible, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights.
Day 41 came and the rain stopped.

Moses committed murder & hid in the desert for 40 years.
Year 41 came, and God called him to help rescue Israel.

Moses went up on the mountain for 40 days.
On day 41, he received the Ten Commandments.

The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.
Year 41, they walked into the Promised Land.

Goliath taunted Israel for 40 days.
Day 41 came, and David slew him.

Jonah preached a message of repentance to Ninevah for 40 days.
On day 41, God stopped His plan to destroy them.

Jesus fasted and was tempted for 40 days.
Day 41, and the devil fled.

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples for 40 days.
On day 41, He ascended into Heaven.

All this to say...don't quit. The rain will stop, the giant will fall, and you will enter your "promised land." Don't give up at 40.

When you’re in the wilderness, you need to make sure you do 3 things:

1) Don’t walk with folks who aren’t going in the same direction as you are (Amos 3:3)
2) Don’t talk to folks who don’t have wilderness maturity (1 Corinthians 14:20)
3) Don’t let folks think your wilderness time is play time…there is a time for war and time for peace (Ecclesiastes 3:8).

Your wilderness seasons are the most intense seasons in your life. In your wilderness season, just like in Jesus’ wilderness season (Matthew 4:1-11), the enemy will try to talk to you, walk with you and distract you…to weaken you. Pray attention: you know the enemy is behind it or working through it when it takes your focus and attention off of God and your promise. Listen beloved, in the biblical context, the Hebrew word "midbar," which is translated as "wilderness," refers to a dry, barren season in which you will be weak, vulnerable, and completely dependent on God. Use your discernment in your wilderness, the enemy does not want you to win, the enemy wants to keep you in your wilderness.

How Weakness Becomes Strength

Think of a situation you wish you could change, and then imagine what the apostle Paul must have been going through in 2 Corinthians 12.

Paul was suffering, and so he repeatedly begged God to remove his pain. But God doesn’t change Paul’s situation. Instead, God tells Paul that His “grace is enough” for him.

"Charis," the ancient Greek word for “grace,” conveyed the favor God showed humanity when He sent Jesus to earth for us.

Before Jesus, people couldn’t draw near to God on their own. But Jesus made a way for anyone to experience intimacy with God. A relationship with God isn’t something we earn—it’s a free gift we receive when we accept that Jesus died for us and rose from the dead.

So when God tells Paul that His “grace is sufficient,” what He’s essentially saying is: “I am enough for you.”

God could meet Paul’s needs because God was all Paul needed—and God was with Paul. The influence Paul had was only because God chose to show off His power through him.

Like Paul, we can then boast about how weak we are so that way God gets the credit for every great thing that happens to us.

Our situations might not change, but our cry often changes from, “God please remove this suffering,” to, “God, when I suffer—show me how You are using this for Your glory and my good.”

So whatever you’re facing, know that God is near. He sees you, and He loves you. Take some time today and ask God to show you how He is empowering you. Draw near to Him, and let Him strengthen you.
