While Israel waited in Babylon, God didn't tell them to put their lives on hold. He told them to build, plant, work, pray, love and live faithfully.

Sometimes we're so focused on where we want God to take us that we become unfaithful with where He has placed us.

When waiting gets difficult, it’s easy to romanticise the past and go back to what feels familiar—even when God already set us free from it.
