Theme : God Will Not Hand You Over To Them!*
Scripture : 1 Samuel 23: 14*

_14 David stayed in the wilderness strongholds and in the hills of the Desert of Ziph. Day after day Saul searched for him, but God did not give David into his hands. Amen_

King Saul was possessed now. His disobedience to God, pride and jealousy had paved a door way for demons to torment him.

He used to feel better when the young man, David, played his harp. But now he wants David dead. Because he killed Goliath? No, not at all. But because the death of Goliath inspired a song in the women of Isreal that accorded more praise to David than Himself. Is the king shallow enough to be bothered by a mere praise song? No! Actually he was very deep.

King Saul could just tell from the song that David merited the throne far more than he, and all his sons did. _"They have credited David with tens of thousands," he thought, "but me with only thousands. What more can he get but the kingdom?" And from that time on Saul kept a close eye on David." (1 Samuel 18: 8- 9)._

He also _"..told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan had taken a great liking to David and warned him, "My father Saul is looking for a chance to kill you. Be on your guard tomorrow morning; go into hiding and stay there (1 Samuel 19: 1-2)._

When the crown prince wouldn't do any such thing as killing David, _"Saul’s anger flared up at Jonathan and he said to him, "You son of a perverse and rebellious woman! Don’t I know that you have sided with the son of Jesse to your own shame and to the shame of the mother who bore you? 31 As long as the son of Jesse lives on this earth, neither you nor your kingdom will be established. Now send someone to bring him to me, for he must die!" (1 Samuel 20: 30- 31)._

Beloved, can you see Saul's unmistakable hate and determination to terminate David’s life so that He and his family remain in authority and and possibly, prosperity? And remember, it is not the fact that David killed Goliath per say that makes Saul hate him so much, but rather, *everything about him. Young David's fear of God, love of God, ability to play the harp so well until demons are cast out, the glory of God on him that attracted all people to him (including the king's own children), his ability to defend the land when all others "chicken out", etc.*

Do you now see why some evil lovers want you demoted? Some others are blocking your promotion. Some even want you dead. There are more "workings" against your business and progress. Your academics pursuance has been challenged by so many terrible obstacles that you don't understand. Your marriage knows no peace as well. Lovers of evil working against you have threatened you in the face,and in your dreams, that they will destroy you. They desire to kill you and you're wondering what you have done so wrong.

Well, that self examination is great. It leads to repentance and reconciliation. However, you needn't always offend evil lovers before they fight against you. Their own disobedience to God, pride, hate and jealousy is enough for them to pursue others unto death.

And no, it is not because you did something spectacular in a way that's why they hate you _(just like it was not the killing of Goliath to save Isreal per say that made Saul hate David),_ *BUT THE FEAR OF GOD IN YOU.* That one intimidates them. It makes you stand out with so much of His glory and power manifesting through all you do and say.

With you around, they feel threatened and in competition. A competition they know they can never win. So day after day, they seek your life. That way, you are not a threat to them anymore. *BUT GOD WILL NEVER HAND YOU OVER TO THEIR DESIRES IN JESUS NAME.*

_BE CONFIDENT ABOUT THIS BECAUSE HE WHO DWELL IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH, ACTUALLY ABIDE UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY._ Begin to pray now. Commit your life and family to God for safe keeping. The enemy may search for you day after day, to do you evil, but to no avail because your are covered in the *BLOOD OF JESUS.*

*_"A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked" (Psalm 91:7-8). THE LORD KEEPS YOU WELL._*

Theme: Storm Must Not Stop You...

We all go through a period in life where we find ourselves going through a period of hurt and betrayal. People we thought had the best interest at heart and support is always turn back and do something you least expected. They betray you or tell lies against you.

When you go through betrayal stage, Trust is broken . You go through a phase that it’s not easy to trust anyone who comes you way. Pain cuts your heart so deep , the the memories of what you been through is engraved in your heart and thoughts.

Joseph went through betrayal phase when his brothers sold him off to Egypt because they were jealous of him. When people see you are destined for greatness they will plot against you, they will tell lies and even betray you. Jealous people can’t stand someone with a vision that will lead them to greatness. The despite greatness, they prefer good things that will only benefit them. Meanwhile people who a driver by greatness want to see those around them to enjoy the fruits of prosperity.

Joseph brothers were not quick to forget what they have done to their only brother, and their father was hurt when he heard his son was no more. To them it was like getting rid of an unwanted item the will soon vanish with the air. That’s how it is with people you do you wrong, they forget quickly.

Strong individuals don’t dwell in pain and hurt. They learn, pick themselves up and start afresh. It’s not as easy as it’s sound but it takes a determined heart and mind which know their purpose and want to fulfill it. Determined Peoplesoft work through betrayal and become more than what their enemies never thought they would be.

When Joseph brother went to Egypt, they found a man sitting in a place of authority. They did not know who the man was, but he knew them and said nothing.

You will sit in places of high authority or be in position to help someone who has done you wrong. They might not recognize you and even remember all they have done to you because you did not let hurt and betrayal destroy you. Instead you endured the pain, got up dust yourself and become something better.

Theme: Never born of the world from the beginning

Romans 12:2

The world has a lot of new things implemented, there are new ways of living each and everyday. We experience big tragedies and tribulations. Physically we are tempted day in and day out. At the moment we are facing the biggest challenge which has everyone on their feet. Every corner of the world people are scared and shaking. People's lives are on the line, lives are lost and we are just so scared for our own life.

This is God talking to us now. He is reminding that we are not of this world. Whatever tragedy we are facing heads on it is not our battle. When our bodies are shaking, when we have ran put of options and nothing of the world makes sense. God wants us to know that this is the time when we should come to him and surrender. He wants us to bring it all to him through prayer and thanksgiving, even though we do not understand. We wants us to fight on our knees(spiritually) so that when we stand we will stand firm because the heavens will be standing for us. When we go down on our knees Christ interceed on our behalf.

We invited the heavens to intervene on earthly. But God seeks him with their whole heart and soul they will find him. Today instead of having fear let us have faith and call upon the heavens. Let us give our battles to the heaves and stand firm in position. Let us seek our God with our heart and soul and the angels will come down and rescue us. We do not conform to the mediocre of the world, we do not fear the things of this world because we have a Father in heaven. We belong to the heavens. Let us come before the heavens with faith.

Theme: I will never serve no foreign gods

Deuteronomy 4:30-34

He is the Creator of the universe and no other god has done what you have done. For God so loved the world(me) so much that He gave his only begotten Son. How merciful is Jehovah such that after all the sins we have committed He still outstretches his might hand to bring us back to him. He has performed signs and miracles, walked in our mist just to save us. How humble is that? He is a jealous God(Deuteronomy 4:24) but when we come back to him He openes both his hands and forgives us and covers us. He never break a covenant(promise), what the LORD has said shall be done. Just like He promised to bless the descendants of Abraham He did, even today He still does. Which god humbles himself and become a friend to his people? He came down by fire and the same way he delivered the Israelites out of Egypt He is going to deliver us. Which God knows what the future holds, He has unfolded and revealed to us wonders and destinies.

Jehovah Rapha doesn't sleep nor slumber. He sends angels to carry us, He protects us, He is a miracle worker, He is the light, our life and the way. He is the truth which sets us free. God loves us with greater love, in him there is life in abundance through Jesus Christ and at the mention of his name every knee bows and every tough confess. He is the God who forgives our sins and forgets them. He knows every sin we have committed yet He still summons us by name. He orchestrate and redirect our step. God loves us with greater love. Although He had the power to destroy all the wicked He still gives us the chance to change our ways. He is patient and slow to anger.

Theme: Don't give up
Verse: Daniel 10

There are times when we pray for things and we feel like God will not answer. We feel like all the things we are waiting for will never come to pass. We might even feel like this is the end and convince ourselves to give up. Along the journey we might lose a lot of things, the road might be too long and we are stuck in a tunnel without an end. But right now, God is saying DO NOT GIVE UP. There is someone going up and down, sending cvs to companies with no response; others are busy running businesses which do not seem to be succeeding while you see people moving and succeeding; you are busy with a career and you feel so weak and exhausted that you want to let go of everything.

But giving up is never and option. Daniel fasted for 21 days even though his answer was released when he started his fasting. We might be working hard expecting result immediately, pray until we shed tears thinking that God will answer right away. But at the right time everything happens. All we need to do is look up to God and believe that He is in charge. We have to wait on God for He will give us strength. When Daniel was trembling and falling to his knees he was made strong. He was of high esteem(not in himself but in the LORD). If Daniel was of high esteemed in himself he wouldn't ask that *"How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord?"* Daniel 10:17. But he was high esteemed in the LORD and he knew that God will answer him.

So if you were ready to give up just know that God is sending an angel with a response of your prayer. If you feel like it is finished just remember that you are almost at the end and when you get there you will talk to the LORD personally. He is assigning and instructing angels to come to your rescue so don't give up, the time is coming.

Theme: Sufficient Grace

Favour-God's way of showing his supernatural love. God loves everyone either Christian or not. He loves us as sinners. Therefore God realised that love alone is not enough so He decided to give away a tangible thing to show His love so through His only son God showed us love. In certain occasions of love God shows His favour. He favours one you in the mist of a crowd. Esther 2:17 The King favoured her more than the other virgins. It doesn't matter where you are, or where you are from. God's favour will reach you wherever you are and move you to a higher place. Through favour doors shall, you will be chosen in place you don't qualify.

Grace-The supernatural continuous love of God for you. John 1:17 Through Jesus Christ we receive the grace of God. The grace of God covers every part of your life. When the King favoured Esther and chose to marry her as the new Queen, God poured his grace upon Esther's head. Esther's life changed completely. Every part of her life changed, she could get whatever she wanted whenever she wanted. When the grace of God touches you, you whole life changes. The grace of God is sufficient. If you want God to work on a small part of life then ask for favour because grace changes every part of your life. Through grace we are made new, we gain a new begging.

Elijah vs Prophets of Baal

Theme: Rather Stand Alone For The TRUTH OF God

Kings 18
Elijah was the only prophet of God against 450 prophets of baal. He didn't shake and hesitate, he took his stand and represented the kingdom of God. There are times in life when you'll come across people who do not believe in the gospel, people who will challenge your believe. Those are the times where you have to be like Elijah and stand tall against all the people against you. Others will tell you that the bible you are reading is incomplete, some will say a philosopher said this and that, others will tell you that the gospel was introduced to hold africans(blacks) captives, people will come with so many things they believe is true. Those are the times when you have to be Elijah and call upon the name of God and he will respond by fire, he will consume everything even the stones.

1 Kings 18:26-29 They called upon baal but there was no response. 1 Kings 18:38 Elijah repaired the alter and told them to pour water on the wood and they did. Then he called upon the name of God and he answered by fire. Elijah had to be there, he had to fix the alter and he had to call the name of God. There are alters in life that need reconstruction and the call on the name of God to sit on the throne and control. There will be challenges in life and God want you to present yourself to the challenge and trust him. Elijah was a prophet of God and the only way to stand against 450 prophets of baal was to trust God. If he did it in his own strength he was going to get scared and slide back. So you got to trust God in challenges and call him so that he can show up. God want you to be there and invite him in. Situations serve as a way to strengthen trust and faith and to bring down the devil. Because it is through our testimonies, the Word of God and the blood of Christ we overcome the Devil( Revelations 12:11).
If you want to see God;
1. Present yourself
2. Accept the challenge
3.Repair your alter
4. You invite God to take over and reveal himself
5. Stand for the TRUTH

Genesis 13

Sometimes God wants to talk to you, but he can't because you're with people. Abram moved from his country leaving his people but took his wife and Lot went with him. When they got to the new place it was not enough because they both had a lot of livestock then they decided to divide it. When they were choosing, Lot chose the well watered rich plain and Abram lived in the land of Canaan(the land of honey). After they have parted the LORD spoke to Abram(Genesis 13:14).

It is okay to choose to dry land over the well watered rich plain. It is okay to get stuck in situations than finding the easy way out. You just have to part from certain people so that the LORD can talk to you. There are people who you are fighting with and you're still maintaining the relationship, stop it. When Abram and Lot started quarreling they parted the land. There are people you should separate from immediately you don't see eye to eye. God is trying to remove them because he want to speak. It's about time you leave them behind and receive your inheritance and blessings. After Abram and Lot parted, Abram got blessed. There is multiplication in letting go of others, there are blessings in being alone. From today, whatever relationship you're trying to restore let it go God want to bless you. God want to speak, so stop forcing things and part from those people. Even to Gideon, God said they are too many. God want to talk to you privately, so listen to him.
