Spirit spouses are simply demons that are sexual and very possessive. We can see this scripture as the angels came down to earth and chose any women they wanted and created a race called the nephilim. The nephilim were giants and they were also a hybrid of a angel and a human.
Genesis 6:4
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.
The angels were highly sexually immoral when they came to the earth transfigured as as men and they created nephilim. If there are sexual angels sleep around with people then there will also be sexual demons sleeping around with people. When the flood happened this is what wiped out the nephilim race and created disembodied spirits which is demons. Demons are spirits that have lost their physical bodies and this is why they can never rest until they enter a body
“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. (Matthew 12:43). The fallen angels were unclean so it only makes sense that demons are unclean too. There’s a reason God flooded the earth, there so was much evil and a high-level of sexual immorality.
Not every Angel is recorded in the bible, not every demon is recorded in the bible, not every miracle Jesus did is recorded in the bible. Demons have assignments and not really names. So a spirit spouse is a just a sexual demon on a assignment to destroy the person that it is assigned too and it enters through sexual immorality because that’s it’s legal grounds, it’s assignment and identity.
