LET CHRIST BE FORMED IN US

In order for Christ to be formed in us, there are things that we need to leave behind, our old way of living.

Ephesians 4:22
Colossians 3: 5 & 8
Galatians 5:19-20

You cant serve God partially, either you are in or out, decide if you want to serve God or the World. We miss our blessings because we want to so things like the world, yet God says “I know that you need these things that the world is chasing, but Seek first my kingdom and its righteousness and everything shall be added unto you.

We must put off everything that does not serve God in us. Anger, losing your temper, doing or saying things to hurt others, causing people to argue, divide and separate into groups, getting drunk and having wild parties.

Christ had these qualities and so we must also have the same qualities in order for Him to be formed in us.
Galatians 5:22 - When you have these qualities, your character becomes evident, we see the fruit growing inside of you.
John 15:16, go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, then the Father will give anything you ask for in my name.

Colossians 3:10 &12 - 14
We must display these behaviours in all situations that we come across, we must be humble, kind, gentle, have patience, forgiveness and above all ,Love other people,for God is Love.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you through this journey of transformation, as you have been made new in your heart and in your thinking, be that person who was made to be like God.

To God be the glory. Amen,

“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Eliab is tall and handsome, but don’t judge by things like that. God doesn’t look at what people see. People judge by what is on the outside, but the Lord looks at the heart. Eliab is not the right man.””

God only uses people who are right in their heart and not because they are strong and well built on the outside. Fix your heart so that you can be a vessel that God can use.

Even though David was anointed as king, he didn’t leave his position as a shepherd until it was the right time for him to be king. Dont lose your focus, trust in the Lord and keep dreaming, God will make it happen.

1 Samuel 17

“The Philistine came out every morning and evening and stood before the Israelite army. Goliath insulted Israel like this for 40 days.”

Goliath brought fear to the Israelites, that’s how the devil operates, he will try by all means to put fear in you so that you don’t see or believe that there is a way out. Refuse to accept what the devil whispers to you.
