NEVER MARRY A MAN OF GOD
Many people laugh when they hear this statement, but spiritually… it carries a deep meaning.
Because the wife of a man of God is the only person on earth permitted to see the side of him that the congregation will never see.
Church members see power.
She sees pressure.
People see anointing. She sees the wounds behind the oil.
People celebrate his messages. She hears the groanings, the midnight prayers, the silent tears, and the battles he cannot explain to anybody.
The wife of a man of God is the only woman that will see his nakedness physically, emotionally, and spiritually… yet still choose to honor him.
She will see moments when the preacher becomes tired.
Moments when the strong man cries secretly before God.
Moments when the one encouraging everybody else is silently fighting discouragement himself.
Yet, she must still stand beside him.
Not to expose him…
Not to mock him…
Not to use his weakness against him…
But to cover him in prayers.
Just like Genesis says, “They shall become one flesh.”
One flesh means his pain becomes her pain. His warfare becomes her warfare. His calling becomes her burden.
Many women desire the title “Mama Pastor,” but few are ready for the sacrifice behind it.
Because sometimes, she will share her husband with the church.Sometimes, ministry will take his time, his sleep, his strength, and even his peace.
There are nights she will sleep alone while he is praying for others. There are days she will smile publicly while secretly carrying emotional burdens nobody knows about.
And sadly, the same people shouting “More grace sir!” may be the same people attacking his home secretly.
That is why satan fights the marriage of genuine men of God heavily.
Because he knows if he can weaken the woman beside the altar, he can weaken the man carrying the fire.
A real pastor’s wife is not just a woman…
She is an intercessor.
A secret warrior.
A silent pillar.
A spiritual covering.
She sees his humanity, yet she still believes in the God that called him.
May God strengthen every minister secretly fighting battles nobody knows about.
May God uphold every pastor’s wife that is crying behind closed doors.
May heaven renew their strength when they are weak.
May their home not scatter.
May their prayer altar never go down.
May they never lose themselves while trying to save others.
And for every genuine servant of God and their wife, may the grace to finish well rest upon them.
May their love survive warfare.
May their calling survive attacks.
May their marriage become a testimony and not a prayer point.
In the end, may they not only preach to others…May they also make heaven together. (Amen)🙏🔥❤️
