8 Weeks old!

The last 2 months have been life changing. Yes, literally life changing. Shani, my middle daughter, married to Will (big Will), had their first baby. A wonderful little guy, Solomon – man of peace.

Added to that and during this time, we had a week where our whole family were in one place. My oldest daughter Jess, with her husband Tom and their two boys, Will (little Will) and Luke from Durban came up for a few days. And Nicky, my youngest (and tallest) daughter was with us for a month. Nick’s lives and works in Berlin, so this was of course super special.

Along with Di, and Dave (big WIll’s parents), we welcomed little Solly into the world. With diverse views and opinions, with strengths and weaknesses, but, above all, a deep love for each other we celebrated Solly. Robust discussions, laughter, ping-pong, meals and good wine (and the odd surf) were some of the things that made this time life changing and special.

Thanks to my kids, my grand-children, Dave and Di.
