Trust His Purpose

Exodus 14:1–4

God is intentional in every instruction He gives. He commanded the Israelites to camp between the wilderness and the Red Sea, a position that made them appear trapped and vulnerable. To Pharaoh, it appeared that they were confused and had nowhere to escape. Yet God declared that He would harden Pharaoh's heart so that he would pursue them, allowing the Lord to display His glory through their miraculous deliverance.

In the same way, there are seasons in our lives when we find ourselves in situations that seem impossible, with no visible way forward. What appears to be a dead end is often the very place where God is preparing to reveal His power and faithfulness. Even when we cannot see the solution, God already has a plan. He is working behind the scenes for His glory and our good, and He will always make a way where there seems to be no way.

This truth is beautifully echoed in John 9:3, where Jesus said, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him." There are circumstances that God allows, not to destroy us, but to create an opportunity for His power, glory, and faithfulness to be revealed.

What may seem like delay, disappointment, or an impossible situation is often the platform upon which God demonstrates His mighty works.

Therefore, when you find yourself in a place where there seems to be no way out, remember that God is never without a plan. Just as He made a way for the Israelites through the Red Sea and revealed His works through the man born blind, He is able to turn your impossible situation into a testimony that brings glory to His name.

Trust His purpose, remain steadfast in faith, and know that He is working all things together for His glory and for your good.

Stay Blessed.

God loves you.

Choose the good part

Luke 10v38-42

In Luke 10:38, Martha welcomed Jesus into her home, but true fellowship with Him requires more than opening our doors, it requires opening our hearts and embracing a personal relationship with Him

Mary chose to sit at the feet of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, recognizing the importance of nurturing a personal relationship with Him. Her focus was on receiving His wisdom, presence, and guidance. In contrast, Martha became preoccupied with the many concerns of daily life; financial pressures, health challenges, responsibilities, and other worldly cares.

While these matters are real and demanding, Mary understood that spending time with the Lord is the foundation that strengthens us to face life's challenges with faith and peace. Her example reflects the truth found in Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” By prioritizing our relationship with God above every other concern, we position ourselves to receive His provision, direction, and peace in every area of life.
When we seek God first, we can also stand on the promise of Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Mary understood that her future was safest in the hands of God. Instead of being consumed by life's uncertainties, she chose His presence. As believers, we are encouraged to do the same - trusting that God already has a good plan for our lives, a plan filled with hope, purpose, peace, and a blessed future. When we sit at His feet and seek Him first, we gain the confidence that He is working all things according to His perfect will.

Choose the good part today, which cannot be taken away from you.

God loves you.

Stay Blessed.

An Appetite Only God Can Fill

Judges 14v3-4

Samson had an appetite that strength could not satisfy. He was called, anointed, and empowered by God, yet his heart kept searching for fulfillment in places that could never complete him. His weakness was not just Delilah; it was a hunger inside him that only God could fill.

Just like the woman at the well, who had five husbands and was still thirsty, many of us keep searching for satisfaction in relationships, attention, success, or temporary pleasures. We try to fill spiritual emptiness with earthly things, but the soul will always crave what only God can provide.

Even Jesus, after fasting for forty days, was tempted in the wilderness. The enemy tempted Him with bread for His hunger, with power and kingdoms for His ambition, and with recognition to prove Himself publicly. These temptations reveal that appetite is not always about food; sometimes it is the craving for comfort, control, validation, or worldly gain. But Jesus overcame because He was fully surrendered to the Father and filled with the Word of God.

If one’s appetite is not filled by God, eventually they will fall for something else. A hungry soul without God becomes vulnerable to temptation, compromise, and destruction. Samson fell because he fed the flesh more than the spirit. The woman at the well kept searching because her thirst remained untouched by truth. But when she encountered Jesus, she found what no relationship could give her.

Jesus told the woman at the well that whoever drinks of ordinary water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water He gives will never thirst. Christ is the only One who can truly quench our thirst, heal our emptiness, and satisfy the hunger deep within us.

Some appetites are not solved by more people, more possessions, or more experiences. They are invitations back to God. Until we allow Jesus to fill the void, we will keep running back to empty wells looking for living water.

Thalitha Koum

Mark 5v22-43

Jairus bowed in worship and humility at the feet of Jesus Christ as he pleaded for his daughter’s healing. Even in his pain and desperation, he acknowledged the authority and power of Jesus. Worship came first, then the miracle.

“Talitha koum” were the words spoken by Jesus Christ to the daughter of Jairus. According to those who were present, all hope was lost. However, earlier, Jesus had assured Jairus to believe, for his daughter was not dead but sleeping.

On the way to Jairus’ house, Jesus was delayed by the miracle of the woman with the issue of blood. During that delay, the news arrived that Jairus’ daughter had died. What looked like a delay became a moment where faith had to rise above fear. Yet Jesus still said, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

When Jesus arrived at Jairus’ house, He removed everyone filled with doubt and negativity - the same voices that often ring loudly in our minds and weaken our faith. He only remained with those who believed and expected a miracle. In every battle, be mindful of who surrounds you. Only take along those who are willing to stand with you, support you, and fight with you in faith.

You may be challenged or delayed, but be assured that, just like Jairus’ daughter, your situation is only sleeping. Delays are not denials. At the command of the Lord, it shall arise.

“Talitha koum” - may every sleeping promise, dream, and prayer in your life arise in God’s perfect time and manifest the power and glory of the Lord in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

John 21v15

After they had breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Son of Jonah, do you love Me?” It was after the miracle, after the hunger was satisfied, and after the moment of need had passed. Jesus then reminded Peter of who he was and what was expected of him.

So often, we are passionate in seeking God when we are in need, but once our prayers are answered and we have received what we wanted, we forget who we are in Christ and drift away from our calling. Yet Jesus still calls us back to love Him wholeheartedly, to remain faithful, and to care for what He has entrusted to us.

Knowing who we are in Christ is important because our identity should not change with circumstances, blessings, or seasons. We are called to walk in obedience, remain committed to Him, and reflect His love daily , not only in times of need, but even after we have “had breakfast.”
Stay Blessed.
God loves you.

Will your lamp still be burning when the Lord arrives?

Matthew 25v1 - 13

There were ten virgins - five wise and five foolish. All of them were invited, all of them carried lamps, and all of them waited for the groom. But when the moment finally came, only the wise were ready.

The difference was not appearance, but preparation.

God loves all of us equally. He gives each of us the opportunity to repent, grow, and build a relationship with Him. His grace is available to everyone, but we must choose to prepare our hearts while there is still time.

Many times, we spend our energy chasing temporary things - status, money, approval, social media attention, and worldly pleasures - forgetting that none of these things will last forever. We become so focused on earthly matters that we neglect our spiritual lives.

The five wise virgins understood the importance of being spiritually ready. They kept oil in their lamps, symbolizing prayer, faith, obedience, and intimacy with God. The foolish virgins waited until it was too late.

This parable reminds us that salvation and relationship with God cannot be borrowed from others. We each need our own oil. We each need our own relationship with Him.

May we not become distracted by temporary things and miss the eternal promise God has prepared for us. The groom is coming. The question is: will you be ready?

God loves you. Stay Blessed.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

Psalms 46:10
[10]Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Sometimes life feels loud, rushed, and overwhelming. We move from one situation to another, trying to fix things in our own strength, leaning on our own understanding. Yet this verse calls us to something different - to be still. Not just physically, but in our hearts and minds. To pause, to surrender, and to remember who God is.

It’s easy to look at others and judge them based on their struggles or where they are in life. But the truth is, we are not so different. We may be facing different situations, but at the core, we are all in need of God’s grace. We are often the same - just at different levels, different seasons, and different battles.

Many of the storms we find ourselves in are not because God has abandoned us, but because we have trusted ourselves more than Him. We try to control outcomes, rush timing, and carry burdens we were never meant to hold. In doing so, we lose the peace that comes from trusting God fully.

God is not distant. He is not unaware. In fact, He is ready to bless us, to guide us, and to restore us - but we are often too busy, too distracted, or too anxious to recognize it.

Being still is not weakness; it is faith. It is choosing to trust God even when things don’t make sense. It is laying down judgment, releasing control, and allowing God to be God in our lives.

So today, slow down. Be still. Trust Him. And remember - you are not alone, and God is already working on your behalf.

Stay Blessed.

Breaking Evil Altars

2 Chronicles 34:1-7

King Josiah became king when he was only eight years old. Unlike many kings before him, he wanted to honor God.

Josiah then removed everything that drew the people away from God. He destroyed idols, tore down pagan shrines, burned false images, removed corrupt priests, and broke the altars that had been used for false worship. He even traveled throughout the land to make sure these evil altars were destroyed.

Years later, while repairing the temple, the priest found the Book of the Law. When Josiah heard it read, he realized how far the people had drifted from God. He humbled himself, repented, and led the nation back to God. Afterward, he renewed the covenant with God and qrestored the celebration of the Passover.

The story teaches that “evil altars” are not only physical objects. In our lives, an evil altar can be anything that takes the place of God - sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, ungodly relationships, addictions, fear, pride, or habits that keep us bound.
Breaking evil altars is important because:
• It removes what is feeding spiritual bo***ge.
• It closes doors that keep negative patterns repeating.
• It makes room for healing, freedom, and peace.
• It restores our relationship with God.
• It helps us walk in the purpose God has for us.
Just as Josiah did not leave the altars standing, we also must not keep things in our lives that pull us away from God. True change comes when we identify those things, repent, remove them, and replace them with God’s truth and worship. As Josiah’s life shows, revival begins when we stop tolerating what is wrong and fully turn our hearts back to God.

God loves you. Stay Blessed.

Allow God to Rewrite Your Destiny

1 Kings 2:27
[27]So Solomon removed Abiathar from being priest to the Lord, that he might fulfill the word of the Lord which He spoke concerning the house of Eli at Shiloh.

The story of Eli is a powerful reminder that ignoring correction can have lasting consequences.
God warned Eli about the sins of his sons, but they refused to change—and Eli did not restrain them. Because of this, judgment did not end with them; it followed their lineage. Generations later, their priesthood was cut off, showing that disobedience, when left unrepented, can echo far beyond the present moment.
It teaches us this: when God calls for change, it is not to harm us, but to preserve our future. Refusing correction today can cost tomorrow—but humility and repentance can rewrite your destiny.
True repentance is more than words—it is a turning of the heart. It is when a person humbly comes before God, not just feeling sorry, but choosing to change and walk in His ways.
The beauty of it is this: God never rejects a truly repentant heart. His mercy meets you where your brokenness begins. As it is written in Psalm 51, He does not despise a broken and contrite spirit.
Repentance opens the door to grace. Where there was guilt, God brings forgiveness. Where there was judgment, He releases mercy. No matter how far one has gone, sincere repentance always leads back to the loving arms of God.
God, in His love, has always placed before us a choice—life or death, blessing or curse. He does not force our hand, but gently guides our hearts toward what leads to peace, purpose, and eternity with Him. As declared in Deuteronomy 30:19, He urges us: “Choose life.”

Stay Blessed.
