Remaining focused

On Sunday, 10 May 2025, Our District Rector, Shepherd Sidwill Jeftha served the congregation.

Philippians 3: 13-14 (NKJV), served as the Bible text for this divine service.

Priest Clinton Mentoor was called to serve alongside the District Rector.

Our District Rector reaffirms God’s message this morning urging us to remain focused on the goal of faith.

Following the celebration of Holy Communion, the choir prepared the way for Priest Godfrey Soha and his wife, Sister Cecilia as they received a special blessing in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary.

Following the choirs final anthem ‘Rise now and shine’, Our District Rector shared some moments by greeting the members and taking some photo’s.

To the couple, God’s Richest Blessings on your silver wedding anniversary. A beautiful milestone unlocked, a testament to God’s grace.

We did not forget about our Mommies, Blessed Mother’s Day to you All – may you experience appreciation and love in abundance.

Encounter with the risen Christ

On Easter Sunday, 5 April 2026, Community Evangelist Collen Van der Berg served the congregation.

John 20: 17-18, served as the Bible text.

Bible reading taken from Mark 16: 1-15, delivered by (Ret.) Priest Victor Adonis.

The Priest Gavin Botha was called to serve alongside the Community Evangelist.

Our message this morning is that Chist’s resurrection is central to our faith.

Following the closing Prayer and the Benediction, the choir concluded with ‘All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ Name’.

On Good Friday, 3 April 2026, Our Rector, Community Evangelist Vincent Baptiste served the congregation.

John 19: 30, served as the Bible text.

Bible reading taken from Mark 15: 22-39, delivered by Sister Chanelle Oppelt.

The Priest Clinton Mentoor was called to serve alongside the Rector.

Our message this morning is that Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for all of humankind - both living and dead - to allow us to have perfect fellowship with God.

Following the closing Prayer and the Benediction, the choir concluded with ‘Glory, praise and honour’.

The Priest Mario Plaatjies was called to serve alongside the Rector.

Our message this morning, like the disciples at the time of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, we too profess the Lord and prepare for His return.
