The Heart of Jesus in the Least of These...

In Matthew 25:40–45
Jesus reminds us that true love for Him is seen in how we treat others.
When we feed the hungry, clothe the poor, or comfort the broken,we are doing it unto Jesus Himself.

But when we turn away from those in need, we turn away from His heart.
“Whatever you did for the least of these, you did it for Me.”
It’s not about religion or good works, it’s about a heart that beats like His.
Jesus is found in the faces of the forgotten. Let’s love like He does !!!
Be Blessed 🙌

18 Weeks of God’s Power in Markpark Vereeniging!

Where do we even begin… After 18 weeks of ministry, we can boldly say: God is faithful!

When our time in Vanderbijlpark ended last year , God placed Vereeniging on our hearts.
For weeks we searched for a place , until God showed the place in a dream. When we found it, it was in a dangerous area in town… and we knew, that’s exactly where God wanted us!

From the very first night, hearts opened, healings took place, and lives began to change. We handed out over 100 blankets and more than 150 Bibles, and saw people coming with crutches, wounds, and broken hearts, all hungry for hope of a better life..

We read through the Gospel of John together, held fun Bible quizzes as we teach, and watched people grow in the Word. Every week, people gave their lives to Jesus!

We never forget the many miracles, some stands out - the man with a very bad foot wound close to amputation. We prayed, and the next week he came walking,80% healed!
One young man, JJ, was taken off the streets into our Salvation House through God’s miraculous provision.

A Muslim man gave his life to Jesus after seeing the change around him.
A woman, deep in addiction living on the streets was set free and restored to her family.
That’s the power of the Gospel !!!
Jesus changes lives!

Even after we stopped serving food, people still came ,not for a meal, but for the presence of God.
Our last night was powerful ,prayers, tears, testimonies, and freedom around the fire.
As we look ahead, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement, next winter, we’ll be ministering in Sasolburg, and Vanderbijlpark- with two outreach teams on one night !!
Contact us if interested to join the teams spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in the streets of the Vaal Triangle...

Looking back, our hearts are filled with gratitude and awe.
This ministry doesn’t belong to us,it belongs to the Lord!
He has shown what He can do when we simply make ourselves available.

And there’s only one thing left to say:
To God alone be all the glory!
He is the One who protects, provides, heals, and saves. This ministry is His, and we are only stewards of what He has entrusted to us.

To the Lord of Hosts, King of Kings, Alpha and Omega, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper - all praise and honor forever !!!

Thursday Night Ministry
This was our second night without any food or drinks being served , yet between 12 and 15 people still came and sat down. I know these are the people in whom the seed is starting to grow.
They no longer come for food, but for the Word of God and to be in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The message was direct and honest, filled with truth and love. We encouraged them to keep seeking the Lord and to find a church where they can continue to grow. I told them to keep gathering together, to form a group, and to continue meeting with the Lord ,even if we are no longer there.
At the end, we all stood in a circle, prayed together, and ministered to one another. There was prayer again for healing, and one man who was badly injured and in need of urgent medical help said he knew he had to come because where the Lord is, there is help. Some of the volunteers offered to take him to the hospital, and he was admitted for treatment.

Next Thursday will be our last night in Vereeniging, and we’ll return next winter to minister through the street church as the Holy Spirit leads.
I’m so thankful for everything the Lord is doing and excited for what lies ahead. My prayer is that next year we’ll have two teams ,one serving Sasolburg and the other Vanderbijlpark on the same night.

Please keep praying with us for provision for 60 more chairs, sound equipment, and funds to equip another team to serve.
Thank you to everyone who gives their time and is willing to minister with us in the most challenging parts of our towns.
The harvest is great, and the workers are increasing…!!!

All the glory to the Lord!!!

As spring approaches and the days grow longer, many of the homeless who hustle on the streets come to rest later in the evenings.
Because of this, our numbers at the street services have been slightly smaller.
But we are not here for numbers we are here for that one soul that needs to be saved.

As always, the message was powerful and touched many hearts. People surrendered their lives and came forward for prayer. Three powerful testimonies were shared about how Jesus intervened in situations that turned around for good, we know these are the answers to last week’s prayers.

A young woman named Pelisa, an addict who had been living on the streets, came to share her victory. Four weeks ago, we prayed for her. Shortly after, she became very sick, but then came the breakthrough, she is now clean, reunited with her family, and stands as a living testimony of God’s restoring power!
We all rejoiced with her and praised Jesus for her new life !!

Many injured people came for prayer after hearing stories of their brothers’ healings. Others, who have not yet received their healing, continue to return faithfully, and we will keep praying and believing with them.

Our days in Vereeniging are few, so if you want to experience God’s love on the streets, keep your Thursday evenings open.

In everything we do, we give Jesus all the glory. 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Have a blessed week.

Romans 10:14-15
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? [15] And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

At Street Salvation, we’re not here for quick, one-time outreaches. Our heart is to walk alongside new believers—discipling, teaching, and equipping them in the Word for 20 weeks or more—so their faith takes deep root and bears lasting fruit.

Last week Thursday was a cold night, but the warmth of the Holy Spirit was within us, and we didn’t even feel the cold.
We are currently working through the book of John, chapter 2.
We started with a question-and-answer quiz, and to our surprise, many correct answers were given—it’s clear that the Word is taking root!
As the Gospel was shared, everyone sat in silence, soaking in every word.
There were many injured people last night, and it seemed as if they came specifically seeking healing. We prayed for every single one of them. In the Name of Jesus, some received instant healing! One woman even called us to her shack, far from where we were, to pray for two men who were too weak to come to us,one with severe chest pain, and the other with a serious infection in his foot that left him unable to walk.
We prayed for them. The man with chest pain was instantly healed, and the other immediately felt relief from the pain in his foot. Everyone who saw it rejoiced together in the Name of Jesus!

When we ended the night in prayer with all our volunteers, we shouted as loud as we could: JESUS!
His Name echoed through the dark corners of the enemy’s territory, and the darkness trembled—for there is no Name higher than Jesus Christ! We don’t have many nights left, so if you want to experience this for yourself, don’t miss the next one! All glory to Jesus alone!

From a cold and dark atmosphere, everything began to shift the moment worship music filled the air.
The presence of the Holy Spirit began to move. As the gospel was shared, one man testified of healing, and the crowd began to listen intently to the message of the night. One by one, people stood, drawn by the power of Jesus Christ,as they were invited to repent and open their hearts to the gospel.

We had the opportunity to pray with those moved by the Spirit. It was a powerful moment as more continued to stand, waiting for prayer.

Tonight, we handed out Bibles, and many hopeful faces received the Word of God with joy. Some couldn’t wait to show us verses they remembered from long ago.. (video in comments.)

One man desperately wanted a Bible but was afraid to take it,he lives on the streets and feared he wouldn’t be able to keep it safe.

We encouraged everyone to begin reading the book of John, and we’ll continue the conversation next week.

As the night drew to a close, something unexpected happened: some didn’t want to leave. They lingered, not because of anything we had done, but because of the peace, the unmistakable peace that comes from the presence of the Holy Spirit and the fellowship of believers. In a place once marked by coldness and despair, the warmth of Christ was now undeniable.

Thank You, Jesus, for trusting us with this sacred work—for allowing us to care for the broken, to speak life into weary hearts, and to witness the power of the gospel firsthand. All glory to You, Lord.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5
