Luke 15:17-18 is a Bible passage about a young man who realizes his mistakes and returns to his father.

"When he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you”'.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
Now, if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
