HOW TO AVOID EMPTY PROMISES

Our words matter. Especially when
our words take the form of promises, vows, and guarantees. If we make a promise, the expectation is that we keep it. Our legal systems recognize the enforceability of written contracts. And God remembers the promises we make. If we can’t (or won’t) keep our promises, we are wise to not make .

Unfortunately, out of excitement and emotions, people always bind themselves,in things which they can't fulfill.

Between promising or vowing without, fulfilling,I will rather keep quiet.

Brethren, it's not a sin not to vow or to promise something.
It only becomes sin,if we do and not fulfill it.

This night,I just want us from now on,to liberate ourselves from empty promises, which create great expectations, ending in no results.

Let us imitate,our God who is covenant keeping.
If u don't give your promise to someone, they won't kill you.

You rather do it as a surprise without promising it prior and not doing it.

Many brethren left church, because they made a vow after an Altar call; they could not fulfill it therefore out of guilty and feeling of being judged, they decide to abandon church.

The Holy Spirit will help us in this.In Jesus name Amen.

What keeps a campfire burning?
HABITS TO STOP IMMEDIATELY

Without wood, the fire will burn out. In the same way, gossip is something that needs a flame to spread. In this case, the flame is an individual with a mouth that speaks. Gossip cannot be spread if people are not speaking it. Do you struggle with gossip? If so, you must stop! This is a sin – instead, as a believer, you should speak uplifting words to and about others. If you happen to hear gossip, do not share it. This is one way, as a Christian, you can help extinguish this flame (or cease this tale).
Some times we feel like,if someone brings up a topic,to gossip about,if you don't contribute, you are not a good friend.;...it's lie let help gossipers to realize that you don't want to take part in the gossip they will stop.

As usual, gossip can only be engaged, between two people,if one is not interested in the deal..then the fire will cease.

Dear God, help me not to gossip about others. Watch my words and my heart and guard my intentions. When someone gossips about someone else around me, help me to cease this type of talk. When I am tempted to speak out something unkind about someone, remind me that this individual is precious in your sight. Help me use only words that edify others and draw others closer to you. Thank you, Lord, for providing us the perfect example of how to love others with your son, Jesus Christ, our savior. In Jesus' name, amen.

NO ONE CAN BEAT GOD IN GIVING

She woke up on a Sunday morning, checked her wallet... only R2000 was left.
Took a paper and started to write all the payments due after that Sunday.
The following were the bills she had to pay and it was almost the end of the month.
House rental=R10,500
Car instalment=R3000
School fees 2kids=R4000
Personal loan repayment=R1500
Car insurance=R350
Miscellaneous expenses=R4500.
She came up with a total list of R23850.

Now the bible says in the book of Hebrews 11:6"Without faith it's impossible to please God, because those who come to God must believe that God is and He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

She only had R2000,and she realized that, having that money could only solve one problem from the list.
She now decided just to turn,to the One who has it all..., the one whom the bible says silver and gold belongs to him.

The one whom the bible says,he calls things that didn't exist as if they existed already.

She told Him with boldness, when we pray to God we must be bold,we must have confidence He is our father...

Then she told him "Father this R2000 is not enough in my hands, but I strongly believe when it will hit the altar this morning in church all my bills shall be paid off.

At the time of offering, she took all her R2000 and gave it by FAITH. My emphasis is on faith.

Beloved anything you give to God,if it's not accompanied by faith ... just remain on the bench go with it home.

All great Men of God in the bible,in the book of Hebrews they gave by faith.

So she gave by Faith her last R2000.
Then, after the church service ,she received a call, from a buyer she is been struggling to get hold of all this while.

They met ;and immediately,that deal which has been delaying,for quite some times was concluded and immediately R29,800 was transferred in her account.

That was enough to pay all her bills and enough to add to her business.

Children of God,the God who helped the widow whose children were going to be confiscated because of their father 's debts,and who miraculously,had more than enough oil, is the same God you and I pray to ,even right now.

I urge you today, be addicted to giving to God without questioning who gets it, who uses it .....And God ,who sees in the secret what you do for His kingdom,He will reward you publicly.

This sister has learnt a lesson,no one can beat God in giving.
Its not enough in your hands until it hits the Altar.
